★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrible service and surprisingly unqualified staff. After wasting a few hours of my time I went to their direct competitor 5 min away and it was night and day! If you value your time and are looking for some basic answers stay away from this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ i was looking for an unusual bulb by Sylvania, after 3 stores i was in GESCAN and nancy the blonde ( and funny ) counter queen after she could not find it on her shelf, phoned her a competitor...no luck...she tried again and finally said give me your card . I left. 30 minutes later she phoned saying she had located the bulb in another competitor...now that is extra effort and should be rewarded.....maybe GESCAN should she send her on a cruise to Alaska....all expenses paid!...or at least buy her dinner and a movie!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been here 2X over the last 2 weeks, as I am not a trades worker I was trying my best to describe what I was looking for. I feel like I did a decent job knowing for the most part what I was after. Both times the staff were rude, condescending and verbally short with me. I'd rather go to home depot... Which I did. At least there when you are actually able to find someone they try to help you with a friend attitude.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unless you know their catalog and the part numbers associated, you will be met with rude, condescending staff. I am a contractor and I know what I'm after, but still can't seem to spark any sort of professionalism in my interactions with them.
I now drive further to another supplier, and couldn't be happier with the prices and willingness to sell me the best product they can.
its amazing this place is doing as well as it is.
