β β β β β I've been coming to George's Train's for years now. Great staff as always, there's a new younger guy who works there now, he knows his stuff and about the hobby, I'm impressed how he handled my needs and others who come in. I've heard him talking to people who are starting out in the hobby and he gives good solid advice and is very friendly , not at all intimidating like some hobby shops. Anyhow great store and would highly recommend this place to friends and family.

β β β β β The staff here is very friendly and helpful; they were really willing to share knowledge and give advice to help with your hobby needs. This place has more than just trains, they carry a lot of supplies that you need for modeling, scratch-builds and terrain building.

β β β β β I found the item I was looking for and took it to the cash. Just as I got there the attendant picked up the phone. I got my credit card ready. The person didn't so much as look my way. I waited and waited. I drummed my fingers on the counter. Still on the phone. I would have found this very annoying even if I didn't have an appointment I needed to keep. After five minutes I concluded that my business wasn't important, so I left the item on the counter and walked out. I'm done with this store.

β β β β β Very good shopping experience! The staff here are very patient and will exchange any knowledge about trains with you! However, new products sell quickly, so you can call ahead to ask if there is any stock so as to avoid wasting time. Anyway, it's a great place to buy model trainsοΌ
