She always does a great job and is so easy get along with which makes my appointments super enjoyable! All the staff are very friendly and they make sure to keep the salon super clean which is always a bonus! Highly recommend :)

Jaime, the stylist that I have been seeing for years, is absolutely amazing with colour! She always gets exactly what I want to do and makes it happen. Would highly recommend this salon to anyone.

Besides the great hair styles and conversation, the new space and renovation have completely transformed the experience. It feels professional but still warm and relaxed. And the new retail area is so much fun! I always find a new treasure. If you're looking for a new positive experience, with caring people to pamper you, give this salon a try. Highly recommend!

She's also a very easy person to spend time with while getting my hair done, I enjoy chatting with her. I usually do a root touch up and tone with olaplex though she's also pulled off small miracles with the occasional colour correction. It's been a slow transition to healthy hair from the damage I did at home with sally's beauty stuff, trying to even out some of the discolouration in my length has taken a few visits. My hair is healthier and growing finally because of her gentle approach. I often get compliments on my hair while I'm out and people asking who I go to so if you're one of those people it's this gal, you can't go wrong with Cara.

The design of the newly renovated space is modern and seems to have all the latest equipment. I love how the stylists stations are well spaced and separated from those next to them. This was and is especially comforting during Covid. Jaime has been my stylist for over 20 years and I wouldn’t have it any other way. She takes good care of me from beginning to end and i always leave there feeling pampered, styled and thrilled that I have a new look, if thats what I asked for. Thank you Jaime for being the best stylist ever at this wonderful Genesis Salon.

If I come in with an idea, she helps execute it, or explains alternatives if my idea can't be done (due to my hair's nature/texture). I don't think I've ever left her hands unhappy. Visited her today, and she was able to fix two years of my own "pandemic haircuts".
R	Rhea Mae Mendoza on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been here twice. First time was for a blowout which took about 2 hours. It's the longest blowout I've ever had. Second time was for a haircut. The hairstylist really sold herself as someone that would be able to layer my hair the way I want it to as I was telling her about struggle in finding someone who can layer my hair. This is the 3rd hair salon I've tried here in Calgary and none of them know how to cut layers the way my old hairstylist did it in Toronto or Montreal. This one charges 75$ for a haircut and 65$ for a blowout which to me is not worth the price. I've had better haircuts for a cheaper price.
