★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Je les ai appelé pour avoir de l'information. Le vendeur était impoli et je semblais le déranger. Quand je lui ai demandé de l'information sur la marque de génératrices Generac, il m'a répondu "Personne ne vend ça au Québec et personne ne les entretient non plus".
Pourtant, une recherche rapide m'a permis de trouver une entreprise à Terrebonne qui les vend et les entretient partout au Québec. Le groupe Faguy. Le vendeur a été extrêmement aidant et gentil, et m'a dit qu'il allait même me référer un électricien pour l'installation.
Génératrices Expert, sérieux manque de professionnalisme.
I called them for information. The seller was rude and I seemed to bother him. When I asked him for information on the Generac brand of generators, he replied "No one sells this in Quebec and no one maintains them either".
However, a quick search allowed me to find a company in Terrebonne that sells and maintains them everywhere in Quebec. The Faguy group. The seller was extremely helpful and kind, and said he would even refer an electrician to me for installation.
Generators Expert, serious lack of professionalism.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nous avions un problème électrique intermittent dans notre VR et lorsque la génératrice fonctionnait, le courant coupait de façon aléatoire dans notre motorisé. Au niveau de l'investigation quant au problème que l'on croyait venir de la génératrice, le personnel a été excellent. Ils ont bien pris le temps de nous expliquer ce qui devait être remis à jour sur notre génératrice puisqu'il y avait effectivement des pièces qui étaient altérées (sans que cela ne cause assurément le problème). Les gens de chez Génératrice experts ont fait un excellent travail sur notre génératrice et nous avons pleine confiance qu'elle est en excellent état maintenant. Elle fonctionne d'ailleurs à merveille.
TOUTEFOIS, le diagnostic posé sur le problème intermittent du courant dans le motorisé a été mal posé. Dès que nous avons réessayé la génératrice (une fois réinstallée sur notre motorisé) à la maison, le problème est revenu. Le problème intermittent se trouvait dans la boite électrique du motorisé (une pièce à 300$) qui pouvait être changée par le propriétaire en 30 minutes. Le coût de la restauration de notre génératrice a été beaucoup plus élevé que cela, bien que cela nous ait permis de s'assurer de son bon fonctionnement. Nous nous serions donc attendu à ce que les tests qui ont été faits le soient avec l'ensemble du motorisé et non seulement sur la génératrice elle-même (notre VR étant sur place), puisque le garage se dit également en mesure de réparer des VR.
Ainsi, je conclurais en mentionnant que je suis convaincu qu'ils sont experts en terme de génératrice et n'hésitez pas si vous avez un problème à ce niveau. Toutefois, si vous croyez que le problème puisse venir du motorisé lui-même, allez chez un concessionnaire de VR qui en fait la réparation et l'inspection (par exemple comme les nombreux concessionnaires qui sont sur la Rive-Sud de Québec).
We had an intermittent electrical problem in our RV and when the generator was running, the power cut randomly in our motorhome. In terms of investigating the problem that was thought to be from the generator, the staff were excellent. They took the time to explain to us what had to be updated on our generator since there were indeed parts that were altered (without this certainly causing the problem). The people at Expert Generator have done a great job on our generator and we have full confidence that it is in excellent condition now. It also works wonderfully.
HOWEVER, the diagnosis made on the intermittent problem of the current in the motorized was badly posed. As soon as we tried the generator again (once reinstalled on our motorhome) at home, the problem returned. The intermittent problem was in the electric box of the motorhome (a piece at $ 300) which could be changed by the owner in 30 minutes. The cost of restoring our generator was much higher than that, although it did allow us to ensure that it worked properly. We would therefore have expected that the tests that were done were with the entire motorized and not only on the generator itself (our RV being on site), since the garage also claims to be able to repair VR.
Thus, I would conclude by mentioning that I am convinced that they are experts in terms of generator and do not hesitate if you have a problem at this level. However, if you believe that the problem may come from the motor vehicle itself, go to an RV dealer who repairs and inspects it (for example like the many dealers who are on the South Shore of Quebec).
