★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A hidden “gem” in the heart of the Narrow Hills Provincial Park. Gem Lakes are breathtaking! A truly amazing experience. The lakes are deep and clear. A must see for all those living in Saskatchewan or travelling through!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely amazing hiking, trail is easy to follow and fairly well maintained but still challenging, and goes from one fantastic view to another, and another, and another. Only 5km, but easily some of the best hiking in the province

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful lakes with fishing and swimming available. Wonderful for canoeing and other boating activities. I do warn you if you want to get to other lakes you have to portage your boat but other than that it is absolutely beautiful

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The park is rustic but absolutely beautiful. The trails are well groomed but challenging. Take water and plenty of bug repellent. The extended hike took about three hours. Info at lower fishing told us it is about 8.5km to do the entire trail.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We didn’t camp here but it’s only about 25 minute drive from the Narrow Hills Provincial Park Campsite. Well worth the excursion. We hiked the paths during late August and it’s an absolute must see. Absolutely beautiful scenery and incredible beautiful during the fall season.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hikes all the lakes. So peaceful. Ended up being 7k, took about 3 hours. So worth the drive up there! There is an outhouse at the trailhead. Be aware you need a park pass.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This area is absolutely stunning! A beautiful spot for canoeing, kayaking, and some portaging. The hike is beautiful with amazing views and some elevation changes. There are some back country camp spots which would be worth staying a night or two.
