★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is very likely the best local bike shop I've been to. Their staff is knowledgeable, they stock quality products, and give great customer support, especially for a small business. They helped us with ski equipment over the winter, as well as bike stuff in the summer. If they don't have what you need, they can usually order it in quickly.
Gearheads helps organize local rides, and they're great people to talk to if it's not a pandemic and you're looking for other people to ride or ski with, or just to find good spots to do those things.
Most importantly, they have their own coffee, roasted by Madawaska, and it's fabulous. KOM Roast is the bomb.

Now living in Vancouver bike was recently stolen, but I found it online, needed the serial # and purchase proof to get it back and Gear Heads (Jen) was so very helpful and promptly got me the info. Great local business, friendly and loyal to their customers. If you need a new bike definitely support this business in Petawawa.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I recently purchased a mountain bike from GearHeads and had a great experience. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. They seem really engrained in the sporting life of the community and offer a wide range of gear for many sports and seasons. Great location too. I highly recommend this shop and will be returning for more myself!
