โ โ โ โ โ We were referred to Gator Custom Windows by a contractor as one of the best in the cities. We went to the showroom in late May and had a great experience. The lady running the showroom was knowledgeable, pleasant, and easy to deal with. We were told we were going to get a call to set up an appointment early the following week. We never did. It's been about 5 weeks now and nothing yet. I've followed up but haven't heard back. It's not very professional to call back potential customers.

โ โ โ โ โ Gator windows and Doors was referred to us by a number of other customers that have work done by them so we decided to contact them for an estimate to replace 24 windows and our rear patio door. Harold arrived at our house and took measurements and provided us a quote. He was very easy to deal with and even made recommendations regarding what type of windows we should go with in our front bedrooms which were double hung instead of the more expensive casement windows. This was because of the size of our openings and he indicated that we would have less glass. It was a pleasure to have such honesty, he could have gone with the more expensive casement and we would not have known the difference until after they were installed. We also drove into their showroom and Beatrice showed us the different styles and again was great to deal with. We ordered our North Star windows through them and once they were in Roy contacted us to arrange a few days to do the install. We agreed on a Monday through Wednesday for the install. On Monday Roy and his son Alex arrived promptly at 8am and immediately began working and by the end of the first day had replaced 16 of our 24 windows with all the trim done on the inside. They did exceptional work and it was quite evident that they were highly experienced at installing windows and carpentry. They were at our house until Thursday of that week to finish. They cleaned up after them selves and treated our house as their own. It was a pleasure dealing with this family run business and would highly recommend them if you need windows or doors replace.

โ โ โ โ โ My family has a long history with Gator: they built our sunroom back in '95 (back when they did this type of work) and installed all the windows; they have replaced all our old weighted windows in not one, but two houses. On the one property, we have had Gator's windows (and skylights) installed for nearly 25 years, with zero issues. On a couple occasions (due to user error) we have needed replacement parts - sourcing these was done through Gator with ease. The windows have stood the test of time and are in excellent working order. Note we are very careful to keep the windows and the tracks clean - biannual scrubbing with toothbrushes is not an uncommon sight, but it's well worth keeping the product in good shape.
Regarding the apparent lack of response cited in the reviews below, particularly from early and mid-2020, perhaps the reviewers would consider that there was a global pandemic unfolding...
We are about to hire Gator for yet another full-home window replacement (13 windows). I am confident that the investment will be worthwhile and hassle-free, as always.

โ โ โ โ โ I just had a great experience here. We had windows installed about 25 years ago and needed a small replacement part for one. The company that installed them no longer deals with the manufacturer and was unable or unwilling to help us. But Ashley at Gator windows took the time and trouble to contact the manufacturer on our behalf and then when she found they no longer supplied the parts, she redirected us to another (Canadian) website that was able to source it for us. My part is on the way. And without Gator, I would probably be buying a whole new window. Thank you for the great service!

โ โ โ โ โ Had our two windows replaced as they were the last that required replacement in our house. Due to COVID we were unable to speak to anyone face to face at the beginning of the quoting phase, but the team at Gator did a great job in being clear and concise. Another person came to confirm the costing and measurements. Price is very fair and installers were quick, efficient and did a great job! :)

โ โ โ โ โ I was referred to Gator through a contractor who had been using them for 20 years. Perhaps the result of a new generation of customer service, I went in read to spend money on windows before years end. She told me the prices per window went up roughly from $400 to $700 because of covid. Understandable. I had the week off work so I went in to get the measurement before ordering. She told me the windows went up three time since I last came in. I replied โso they went from $700/window to $2100/window?โ She said yea something like that. I left. Between the first and second visit, the contractor called them for a small measurement before ordering, they told him he couldnโt book a viewing for at least six weeks, they took his number, never called back. And here I wanted to spend $10000 on windows from a local, family run business. Iโll try Lowes instead thanks.

โ โ โ โ โ Quality, Professional workmanship. please know that the repair work on our home was a considerable effort from a previous builders issue.
Gator Windows , were here on time and finished the substantial project (remove and replace over 24 large windows )in exactly the time they estimated . We are so pleased with their manner of work,(very tidy),and the dealings with all staff from the front office to the installers shows why success come to their efforts!
I strongly recommend you stop searching and guessing ,use these people!
