About Gardewine
Gardewine announces an increased emphasis on service to North and Northwest Ontario through Gardewine’s ten terminals and agencies in Atikokan, Dryden, Ear Falls, Fort Frances, Kenora, North Bay, Red Lake, Sudbury, Thunder Bay, and Toronto. Winnipeg, Thunder Bay, and Toronto (Mississauga) Terminals are now main hub locations for Gardewine.
Nunavut territory becomes part of the expanding Gardewine service in the north when 133 piggyback trailers, four boxcars, and 30 auto carriers are loaded at Thompson, shipped by train to Churchill, and transferred to barges for the final leg to Nunavut points.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Poor service and lack of communication within the company and with customers. Did not mention that a truck had broken down and was not going to make the delivery time. Had to call to find out. Called again to find out when new delivery date was and told a certain time. When it still hadn’t arrived I called again and was told they didn’t know who told me that time but it was wrong and they couldn’t give me a time. Embarrassing and unprofessional. Almost a week late since they picked it up.

Gardewine North shows up totally unexpected for a delivery that was suppose to have a scheduled appointment time. This delivery was 600 pounds and I was told I would be called to schedule the delivery time so I can have the necessary help. I was stopped in the middle of my day and the middle of appointments with clients to the delivery guy at my place of work. I had to call family members to stop their jobs to come help me. The delivery guy was so unhelpful and so rude. Very disappointed in the lack of communication between delivery companies and the service provided. Will never be allowing them to deliver any of my future equipment/products every again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Other than trailer delays, which I hope can be made better in the future, staff is polite and does provide realistic time frames.. I do really hope that they can figure out their schedules better so that the customer can get what they ordered on the promise Date and not 3 days later..
