No use placing a pickup order. Placed an order on 27th May and the store automatically cancelled my order mentioning high demand. Contacted customer service and the associate mentioned that Homedepot cannot guarantee online orders will be fulfilled.

I guess the days are gone where a customer meant everything to the store (based on my earlier review 2 yrs back ?). And the "new generation" of employees only care for the paycheck without any effort, by this no offense to those who do care at this particular location of home depot, but in my experience I yet have to come across. As the saying goes, "one bad fish destroys the whole pond". I was looking for a drain basin lid and asked the "specialist" in the plumbing section to see if he can locate the part for me as I didn't see in the aisle. Without checking anything his reply in his own words, "if you didn't see it, it means it's not there". I asked him to see if he can check the system and give me details on the SKU # so I can lookup for online order or when store might be getting more shipment of the same. His reply, "sorry I can't check system as nothing is on the shelf and can't find out SKU# if items are not in store". Really.....????? At this stage I simply walked out and gave my sale to neighboring Reno Depot....bravo home depot. Few weeks later I thought of giving another try and this time I was looking for a flexible watering hose and as per the inventory levels of the store they had 28 in stock. When I asked the pseudo "specialist", her reply in her own words, "sorry there is no information to where this item is in the store, so can't help". I insisted her to check with someone else who might help her. Well to my surprise she went away to consult and came back with the same answer.......bravo home depot, just bravo. Thanks for indirectly telling us to go shop somewhere else or simply give our business to Amazon. For the local HR team at this location, hats of to your customer service training to the "new generation" associates..... cheers!

** ZERO stars ** No service or anyone to help with your questions. Its pretty much self serve. You should just lay everyone off and put some self serve cashes and you could save a tone of money. And this is why I shop at RONA !!

This experience was odd and annoying. One paint dept. clerk was extremely helpful.The next decided to respond to us in French for most of the transaction. When she finally switched to English, her tone was perfectly clear. The products are great, the uneven service was poor and represents HD is the worst way. Loyalty requires respect of English clientele, not games when money is on the line.
