We made the best outta our stay. I booked this because we were celebrating our anniversary. We arrived the previous Friday and when we opened the door to the room all we could smell was musty mold smell. Thw toilet paper they left was maybe a 1/4 roll left(with covid protocols, i know this is a big no no), there was no hand soap to wash our hands after using the bathroom. The mirrors and pictures were poorly cleaned, windows had black mold around and in the inside window sill. Spider webs. And also for a non smoking room there was a burnt spot in the couch clearly from smoking, towels had stains on them, tv didn't work. I could go on and on about the little things. The worst of all is when we checked out the next morning, I mentioned a few small things to the front desk and her response was you had all that, we provided it. And when I said I can show you pictures she got flustered and said you should've called we would've delt with it in a very rude tone. The place is beautiful beautiful, and comfortable beds, but unfortunately I don't think we will be back.

It was a fantastic experience at watermark. Best arancini we ever had. Sauce with the salmon is something i never taste in my entire life. Everything in menu is unique and well balanced with spices.

We loved our new years eve package. The inn went above and beyond to make sure our night didn't feel affected by covid. They brought our late night snacks to our room... Because the dancing was cancelled. The dinner and breakfast went above and beyond. So yummy. The view from our waterfront room was pretty wild as we felt like we were right on the water. The inn needs updating... Especially in the rooms. This shouldn't stop anybody because it was clean... Cozy and the beds were so nice.

The reason for my one star is the beautiful views from the Gananoque Inn. Otherwise, I would not recommend the restaurant within the Gan Inn to eat at. Today, was Mother's Day, Sunday May 9th 2022. My wonderful husband decided to make reservations to take myself and 10 other family members to the Mother's Day brunch. Upon our arrival we were seated a table and notified by the waitress that we could start at the buffet at any time. When we went to the buffet, there was nothing left? I understand, that with a full dining room this could happen. Unfortunately, it never really was replenished for us to be able to eat at. Now you must understand we paid $30 a person to eat at a buffet with no food. What was served, was tasteless, cold and the most disgusting food I have ever eaten. You have to understand I never write reviews, but I couldn't help but right this one today. I'm hoping that the n owners of the Inn will make this right? If not you will have 12 dissatisfied customers that will pass this on to others that may be thinking of going to this restaurant to eat. I may be able to understand no food in the buffet if we hadn't made our reservations 2 weeks prior to coming today. I would suggest more selection, better preparedness. Perhaps more staff. Needless to say we were all very disappointed and it is unfortunate that I have to write such a negative review.

We rented the St. Lawrence room for a celebration of life. Everything from the booking process, to the bill was perfect. The staff was a delight to work with. The food and beverages were ideal for the occasion. The room was clean and ready for us with the items we had asked for. Top it off with a fantastic view. Great value.

We got the King room, River view but not the jacuzzi or fireplace one. The room smelled musty, so we went a bought a candle. You can’t have the heat/air conditioning on and have the curtains pulled at the same time because the curtains cover the vents. The corners of the room weren’t vacuumed. There was a dead bug in the lampshade. The bathtub is marked up and rusty. There are gaps around the door. There’s no refrigerator. There was half a toilet paper roll in the bathroom, which is not at all covid-safe. This isn’t an Inn, it’s a motel. It is not worth $180/night with taxes included. This is an $80 room with a very nice view, perfectly located. Oh, and the parking lot at the ‘Annex’ where we stayed wasn’t plowed. And the phone doesn’t make outgoing calls. Also — the King size bed had four small pillows. We asked for two more. The TV is awful. Tinny sound and cheap. No other King room available. I asked one hour after checking in, because other reviews said ‘you should have told us’ — also no refund or partial refund. Didn’t take our chances with the complimentary breakfast.

Had a very nice stay in Gananoque Inn & Spa. They put us in a little cottage external to the main building. Nice and spacious. In pretty good condition and nice and clean. We arrived at around 8pm and were told that the restaurant was closed. This was a bit of a surprise and frustrating. It was a Thursday night so wouldn’t have expected this. Also the guy at check-in desk had no other ideas or recommendations in the area. That’s the negative. Especially because in the morning we had breakfast in the restaurant and it was amazing. Super impressive and incredibly friendly service. My wife has various allergies and the lady in the restaurant couldn’t have been more helpful. Food was superb! All in all, a nice stay and I would go there again when in the area.

We booked via booking.com and the room was okay. The rooms are recently renovated but its has that old building feel. Our room was a bit small and hot water did not flow easily, it took a long time but there were other bigger rooms too so those might be better. The rooms on the ground floor has lake view and easy deck access. I'd recommend booking those. Beautiful location though and friendly staff. Complimentary breakfast was awesome!
