About Galloway Bay Outfitters
Ken Risi
Ken Risi was born and raised in Thunder Bay, ON. He quickly shared his father and brothers' passion for hunting, fishing, and was taught to respect all wildlife and their habitat. As a result, Ken pursued a career in Waterfowl Biology, graduating from the University of Manitoba with a degree in Zoology. Ken’s knowledge and passion of waterfowl continued to grow as the Hatchery Manager at Delta Waterfowl Research Station. This is also where he became a sought after taxidermist of waterfowl. Ken’s career took him to Ducks Unlimited as a biologist, then later on as a fundraising manager. During this time, Ken spent many hunting seasons guiding, cooking and sharing his love of waterfowl with those lucky enough to sit beside him in the duck blind. Ken’s passion for the preservation of habitat for waterfowl and all wildlife is now showcased in the breathtaking photos he takes of all wildlife. He spends countless hours observing wildlife in their natural habitat and snapping thousands of photos to share. Ken also has the unique ability to create culinary masterpieces from all wild meat, and has hosted many events as the head chef.
For Ken, Galloway Bay Outfitters is the optimal opportunity for him to share his passion for hunting, fishing, photography, and cooking with the many outdoors enthusiasts that will join him in Kyle, Saskatchewan. Ken is proud to be the father of Alaina Rempel, Casey’s wife.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We can’t say enough about our time with Casey. We surprised our 12 year old son with a guided fishing trip for his birthday and it was everything we hoped for. Everything was perfect from the boat to the gear and the bait. Casey took us straight to the fish and we will definitely be back. His experience and knowledge of the river and all the fish we caught made for a 5 star family day!!!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have hunted with Casey and enjoyed the whole experience from the spotting of birds, the hunts themselves, the fun conversations, and the fellowship after the hunts. He is very knowledgeable about what the birds habits are and where they are likely to go day to day. He has plenty of fields to hunt and a great network / relationships with the local farmers. His equipment is first class and his calling was amazing! He clearly loves guiding and he worked extremely hard to get us our birds each day. The accommodations were very clean, nice and dry, and warm. The food was excellent and you won't go hungry booking with Galloway Bay Outfitters. It was great not to have to clean our birds. And when we got back home i was impressed with how clean all of our birds were. I can't wait to get back to see Casey this fall and participate in another amazing migration! Joe from Minnesota

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic hunt with Galloway Bay Outfitters. Casey's connections with land owners and his knowledge of the birds and flight patterns allowed us to get under the birds every day. Alaina and Casey are outstanding hosts and made us feel like family. Definitely plan to return as this is one of the best waterfowl hunts you will ever experience.
