★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This art gallery on Carlton Street less than five minutes' walk east from Yonge, operation by The Foundation for the study of Objective Art, has an ever-changing and eclectic display of works in different media by different artists, mostly Canadians. Admission is free, and the friendly staff are eager to guide visitors through the different exhibits in this multi-story space. Definitely recommended for visitors.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely gallery space with a friendly receptionist. Despite being crammed into an old 1900's home on the Ryerson campus, it's quite interesting with gallery space and a small library.
I would recommend to leave the backpack and jacket behind since the space is quite compact. However it does provide a sidebar to all the going on's of the urban outdoors.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Treated like gold...Ed gave us a great tour of the gallery. He understands the mission of the gallery and its aesthetic and artistic premise. Really interesting. Talk to the artists and see modern art to expand your palette of what is out there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ from the minute we walked in and heard the tranquil noises of the water to the minute we left with our hearts heavy with content; our trip to the gallery is going to be unforgettable.
the people who ran the gallery are also very kind and engaged us in conversation telling us about many other hidden gems all over toronto.
it was a great visit and my friends and i can't wait to go again

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing gallery tucked out of sight of most. The staff are very friendly, and give you an explanation of what the gallery is all about. It is surprisingly large, and there is a quaint library room on the upper floors where one can sit and relax. All in all, would definitely recommend a trip here!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gallery Arcturus is it’s own little world, despite being packed inside two centennial townhouses. It hosts a variety of art styles, while the showings are fluid, changing gradually with time and providing a fresh experience every time I go.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have passed by this art gallery so many times but never went in. Gallery Arcturus is a not-for-profit contemporary art exhibit and education centre located at Church and Gerrard. It is funded and operated by The Foundation for the Study of Objective Art, a private charity established to promote the study of art. It's not so small and mighty. I enjoyed the exhibits. Staff was super friendly. Oh, and it's FREE!
