★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A service person from a previous reputable company kept trying to convince me that my gas fireplace was not repairable and that a +$5K replacement was a better option on a home I felt was too old to invest such money in to make a functional fireplace. I went for a second opinion and got not only an opinion from Galbraith Plumbing and Heating but action. They repaired it with a new thermopile and gas valve for a total cost of just around $500 ($300 for parts and $200 for labour), a far cry from a potential unneccessary costly replacement. In addition Galbraith serviced my furnace and hot water heater in the same standards the former company did. I trust Galbraith in supporting my requests and needs and delivering them to the best of their abilities. They are a company I trust and want to continue to use them for future services.
