Galbraith House - Edmonton

I've been staying in this building with my husband and two children since March 2016 until now. We've came from Singapore and landed in Edmonton as an immigrant. Our stay in this building was great, we have an old kitchen cabinets but they changed it to a new one after I told the office that it has a sharp edges and to my surprise they also included to change the washroom cabinet. Initially, our parking area was on the top and we listed our name on the waiting list to have a sheltered parking lot and after a month, we had a spot! The price is also cheap at $35/month. Galbraith house is a quite place and staff in the office like Leticia and her colleague are friendly and accommodating. I remember, I had forgotten my door keys inside the apartment. Tired from work and kids were tired from school, I desperately wanted to go inside my unit to get rest. I went to the office even though its already past 5pm. The office staff was ready to go home. Despite the fact that she was off duty she still helped me. I am impressed for her concerns and attention to help when someone in need. I felt comfortable and safe staying in this building. Staff are exceptional and wonderful! The maintenance and office staff always greeted me with a smile when I see them around the building. For maintenance services, I had nothing to worry because when you have a leaking taps or anything needed to be fixed, they will repair it without any costs and the office did ensure that my needs are addressed timely. By the way, my unit was clean and I never seen any bed bugs or cockroaches since I started staying in this building. Thank you so much Galbraith House!

I recently signed up for a unit here. Thanks to Ednas patience and kindness, she made it pain free. I ended up with a semi update one. Newly painted cupboards and walls, hardwood floors and new tub. It’s a very quite place and clean place to live in. Every morning on my way to work, building maintenance are hard at work but never fail to greet me. Pain free sign up and hassle free living is my initial impression for Galbraith house it’s really worth checking out if you’re looking for a great abode.

We are so happy to stay at Galbraith House. The office staff are very nice , maintenance also and building cleaning is on top specially COVID time. They always clean elevators and hallways which we feel safe with the pandemic going on. We stay in this building for 6 years already suite (1103) and we are happy in our home. Thank you all

I’ve lived here for 2 months now. In the day time, this building is pretty quiet, and the leasing office workers are very kind and friendly. They have not been as responsive due to the construction, but that’s understandable. Unfortunately, at night time though, the atmosphere and people out-and-about become pretty questionable. The parkade has become a target for break-ins which is also unfortunate. My weird neighbours love to scream at 3am, and are really mean to their pets which angers me. One last thing I’ll add is about some mail that had been stolen recently. Watch out for the Porch pirates! What can you expect for cheaper apartment living I guess.

The people that work here are kind, responsive, and professional. The building is clean and it has security cameras. Location is great as it has easy access to the Whitemud. Walking distance to parks and trails. So far, I haven't seen any cockroach, bed bugs, or crawling insects in the building. There are two elevators and they are quick. Also, the laundry room has enough space and is never too crowded. Their renovated suites are nice and cozy.

Worst experience with parking lot, we pay for 2 parking spots.2 times charging cable was stolen, and now snow wasn't removed making messy lot.car was stuck nobody cleaned since yesterday I made a request call and explained have work this morning.

Great building with great surrounding. My friends and I have been living here for about a year now and the service provided by Adna & Boardwalk is exceptional. The building is nice and the laundry room is equipped with latest appliances. I would recommend this building to anyone looking for a new and affordable apartment.

Lovely building, great staff, amazing leasing agents. Edna and Charlie were by far the best. kind and understanding. They renovated the lobby, and I have never been more proud to call Gailbraith apartment my home. The maintenance staff are always working around the clock, very polite and always available to help out with whatever maintenance issues you have. The building is clean, and during the summer it's just so lovely to sit outside under the building shade, with the grass freshly cut . Always very accommodating when it comes to payment arrangements. There was an issue with the fire alarm going off every half an hour for whole month straight every day during night time, when it was winter. I TRULY HATEDTHAT! I do not know if they caught whoever that was pulling the fire alarm or if it was broken but they managed to fix it eventually. overall it's a great place to live, clean, quite, spacious, affordable and a beautiful view.
