My wife and I recently moved into our newly built home in Royal Bay. We had a miserable experience from the start dealing with two realtor employees in the show home. What should have been an exciting experience especially for first time home buyers, we felt very rushed and not valued as customers. We had many questions as it is one of the biggest decisions you will ever make. A few months before our home was completed, there was a staff turnover and we were pleased as the effort was there to make us feel valued. However, the communication was poor and perhaps this was contributed by being understaffed. Gablecraft had plenty of notice and multiple reminders to sent the appropriate documentation for the closing date to our Lawyer’s office; however, they still didn’t send it in time. We ended up having to wait over the weekend to close. This is one big example of the many difficulties we experienced working with Gablecraft. Overall we are enjoying our new home as you cannot beat this location so close to the beach, but it should not have been an unpleasant journey like we had experienced. If you choose to purchase a home here, make sure to document all communication.

I bought a house in Royal Bay and did not have the best experience with the Home Store staff at Gable Craft. However, we bought in January, 2018, and since then, the Gable Craft Home Store has had a complete change over of staff. I have met with the new staff a few times and they are much more personable and honest than the ones my husband and I had bought from. I know they have been working hard to right the wrongs of the past staff members. Their former staff were not knowledgeable about how their design selections worked, rarely seamed to have an answer to our questions, and would not get back to us with answers when they said they would "look into it". There ended up being a lot of inconsistencies and disappointment for us. I believe the experience buying a home now would be better than mine. Although I had a poor experience with the staff, I don't regret is as the house is what we wanted and it is less than a 10 minute walk to the beach and a good upcoming community.

I have been waiting for days for a response email in regards to new builds and planed phases. Dose anyone even look at the emails? Poor customer service. From the reviews I have read, this has been going on for years. Very dispointed with the level of customer service.

Need an appointment, don't take walk ins...basically impossible to access! A friend who sold her house was looking to buy and even her Real Estate Agent could not get a reply (and she had a client who previously bought there). Not just Covid related, wait list is very long!

Need an appointment to get inside and talk to someone. Covid protocols are in place here so even when you have an appointment still wear a mask. Homes are nice and clean, met the cleaning staff at the model homes and these guys put in a great effort to sanitize the homes for walk through viewings.

Neither Brendan nor Tanya, the listed agents for this development, ever answer their phones nor do they respond to emails. I finally managed to get in touch with their customer care by email who forwarded my questions to one of the agents however no luck in getting any information and when I complained to the customer care team, there was no response. I am glad I had this experience right at the gates because it made it very clear to me I should not be spending my money in a development that is so poorly managed. Absolutely terrible. They make millions in profit and you'd think they would spend a couple of extra bucks to hire more capable people who know a thing or two about customer service.

I wouldn't buy a house from this developer. I've seen so much bad craftsmanship and work on their homes. I'm surprised it's note bankrupt.

Exactly what everyone else says sub par workmanship at best! Not one wall is plumb or square went to figure out why the front door won’t close properly found that they had ground down the sryker plate!!!! This is a new house so I decided to put a level on it to see if the door was somewhat plum- nope not even close. We emailed them no response. So I pulled the door jamb apart and made the door jamb plum myself .
