this is the third time i’ve come here, waited in line for 15 min while the only person working ignored us. the staff have no love. theyre rude and understaffed. i so wish the SLM would replace them with an excellent bakery. like blackbird!

The coconut macaroons have grown in size and are now chocolate dipped too. I've tried their almond pretzels, not bad. My daughter also had a butter cookie and it wasn't bad either. What's bad though are three of things: they charge tax on food items below $5, not sure why (you don't have tax when you order 6 or more items but what if I don't want that much); they don't include surveyettes when you order these baked goods, when you ask for some, they reluctantly give you 'one'; service isn't the friendliest. It's as if they know they are the only game in town and therefore, what's the use of providing service with a smile. C'mon guys, continue that baker stereotype where being in the business of sugar and bread should also result in smiles galore!

I just have to give this bakery a one star. I bought two tarts at $4.95 each, and they put both in a tiny box, piling one tart on top of the other. I didn’t see this until I had long left the bakery and presented it to my date at dinner. Talk about embarrassing! Terrible customer service as well. I love the St.Lawrence Market but I highly recommend you do not support this bakery.

It is inside St. Lawrence market and as you would know the whole place is really crowded on a Saturday(Which is a good thing). I am new to cheesecakes and saw it on display here during one of my visits to St. Lawrence market. The cheesecake didnt give any special taste and didnt seem to have good quality ingredients. There are chairs and tables next to this place part of common area, so you can get seats to get rest. I will pass next time when I pass by it.

I asked for six hamburger buns, and thought the employee had misheard me when she asked for $7. But I paid it anyway and expected something pretty good for that price. Instead they were tough, stale and inedible. A real disappointment.

First time trying here, and fortunately I didn’t feel the customer service that everyone talked about in other reviews. We also went about an hour before closing and not too big of a lineup at the time. As we were ordering, I kinda apologized for making a lineup for them and they said with a smile not to worry, that it gets busy all the time. So that was super nice of them. The treats were good. Was craving butter tarts for an amount of time now and those really hit the spot! The alfajores cookie was a little bit more crisp and crunch as opposed to soft. The eclair choux was a little chewy for the family, but I like the choux with a little bit of texture like that. The chocolate Swiss roll was nice and bouncy and a nice chocolate taste The macarons had nice types of flavours, but with the amount of amazing macaron places out there, these were average. However, with all that being said, still enjoyed everything and would totally try them out again when hitting up the st Lawrence market. Great job overall! Their butter tarts are really nice and reasonable. The Loblaws one is $4 and this one is $1.89. Really fresh and buttery true to it's name. I also got a pecan tart which I can't wait to taste tomorrow. The past of the future bakery is pretty sweet and it was nice to read it while enjoying the tart. This might be our staple for butter tarts.
