delicious fluffy pancakes and good service. savoury options were excellent, though i found the sweet one a bit too sweet for my taste (though I prefer mild sweets so this is probably just personal preference)! good deal for the amount of food you get, highly recommend :)

Fantastic little pancake cafe in Vancouver. Very fluffy soufflé pancakes that are reminiscent of the ones I had in Osaka. If you have not had Japanese soufflé pancakes before, it requires a slow cooking process so be aware that it will be 20-25 minutes from order to get your food. There is only a 1 hour seating policy so it’s best if you know what you want to order ahead of time if you want to chill and chat at the table. They only hold your reservation for 15 minutes after your scheduled time, so don’t be late. Ambience: A small, cute and cosy cafe. Clean and bright ambience. Has about four 4-seater tables and some window seats, so be sure to give them a call at least a day ahead to make a reservation, otherwise you'll be forced to wait outside (as per covid protocols) until a table clears up. It's fun to watch the chefs work on the soufflés from the kitchen windows. Food: We ordered a peppermint hot chocolate, an Earl Grey latte, and a ruby hot chocolate. Cute little drinks with generous swirls of whipping cream; smaller than I expected; came warm rather than hot. Peppermint and earl grey had nice flavour and not overly sweet. The peppermint tasted like a subtle After Eight chocolate drink so that was nice. Ruby hot chocolate tasted more like a milky hot chocolate, so I would have wanted more of that tangy, berry taste that I expect from ruby chocolate if that’s what’s being advertised. We ordered the seasonal Mont Blanc (chestnut paste) pancakes, and the Matcha pancakes. Very fluffy, very airy, very jiggly. Take photos fast because you want to get in there as soon as possible before the pancakes deflate. Both were delightful, and passes my family's "not too sweet" test. I appreciate the chunks of chestnut, but I do wish there was more hojicha mousse or hojicha-flavoured items on the mont blanc. The matcha sauce is has a full, bittersweet matcha taste that goes with the mochi and sweeter matcha ice cream that comes with it. If you’re a green tea enthusiast, get this. Cost : The pancakes range from $14-17 and definitely what you want to come for. We all left very full. The specialty drinks were a nice accompaniment, though on the pricey side. Overall, I’d definitely go back here to try other flavours of their pancake, and to try their sandos. The photos they show online is definitely what you can expect.

Service was good. We didn’t have a reservation but wait 15-20 mins only. The soufflé pancakes are so light and fluffy. Good texture and variety.

First visit and loved it! The store is very cute, clean, and socially distanced well with the tables. So cute how they have name tags for their plants. Shared the matcha mochi, dark chocolate, and tiramisu with friends. Not overly sweet, just enough. The pancakes are light, fluffy, and melt in your mouth. But with the rich toppings, one plate is more than enough for a single person. With three people, we were stuffed. For drinks, I had a latte and it was solid. The seasonal drinks looked interesting. Staff were very nice and attentive with dietary needs, checking in and water refills. They have an assortment of tasty looking baked goods as well, but I was too full after pancakes... maybe next time!

The service is great, the place is very cozy and the food is extremely tasty! There’s a bit of wait for the food, but that’s alright, it was really worth it. I got the matcha Mochi pancake soufflé and I really liked how the matcha taste is very strong instead of sweetened. If you like matcha anything, you’ll definitely love this one. The pancake is soft and fluffy its like eating a cloud! Its my first time trying pancake soufflés and I am not disappointed. They have a huge selection of drinks as well. They are all very unique and interesting. I wanted to try all of them. I settled with the mixed berry cheese foam and it was really good. Will definitely try the other drinks next time. I highly recommend this place. I will definitely come again to try their savoury soufflé pancakes menu.

The BEST Japanese Souffle Pancake in ?? ADVICE: if you want to come on weekend, make sure to reserve! Otherwise you may not get a seat ? This cafe completely exceeded my expectations of the quality product! Every single plate of pancakes are presented as amazing IN PERSON as on their Instagram and website. ? But also every single bite was heaven! The flavour combinations, portions, and taste are all so superb? I will definately come back! And this cafe is certainly worth the trip if you live in Metro Vancouver
