★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Did the Salmon Lake loop trail, took about 4 1/2 hrs. Recommend to do it counterclockwise to get the hard part out of the way first. Bring lots of water and hiking shoes!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful Park, lots of great trails and hikes for day tripping. Great amenities and sites across the park for campers. Each site has a bear box to store food in and usually has an outhouse nearby.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic experience from beginning to end. Booking was easy, hike-in trail was well marked, leaves in full colour, campsite on a gorgeous lake complete with bear box, fire pit, picnic table and tent pad. Sites are really well spaced out so we felt practically alone. Recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This park is beautiful and full of wildlife. It is pretty remote compared to other camping places. It's great that you can camp just 2 km in or 5 km or more, so you can pick whatever level of backcountry camping you're comfortable with. There are washroom even 5 km into the forest, which was a pleasant surprise, but bring your own toilet paper and hand sanitizer. The winter camping was super nice and the whole park was available for booking pretty much.
