★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing service. Last night at FOD I recieved some of the best bar service ever. Very attentive and polite. The food is delicious and satisfying. Highly recommend the tapenade! Comfortable seating arrangements ?
Fun atmosphere: great music and played loud, beautiful decor (big chandelier), and the walls are painted gorgeously which bounce light in cool ways at night with the neons.
Highly entertaining drag events held here

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'm obsessed with this place! I've been a number of times now for dinner and am never disappointed. The cocktails are fantastic, the charcuterie boards are very filling, the food is great, and they have lots of vegan options for those needing it. As someone who isn't vegan, the vegan food there is exceptional. The aesthetic and ambiance of the place is gorgeous, and the music isn't too loud so you can actually have a conversation. Great entertainment on all nights of the week. I'm so happy we have a casual LGBT pub-style restaurant - highly recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a great option vs standing on the street waiting 30 + min to get into some of the other local breakfast stops. Book a res and be seated immediately! Unique decor, hip atmosphere, friendly staff, delicious food and beautiful bathrooms (I always judge a restaurant by their bathrooms). My only service issue was how long it took to be offered a beverage when we came through the door. It wasn't busy enough to warrant that long with that many staff setting up for future customers and no one helping us BUT once they did the service was excellent and the server fun and informative.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So far I’ve only been here for brunch but the experience is 10/10. The brunch menu is fantastic, as are the drinks. FOD has possibly my favourite decor in Victoria and the servers are personable and professional. Such a fantastic atmosphere—I’m so happy to see more variety in types of queer spaces available in Victoria. Can’t wait to come back for an evening with Friends of Dorothy!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food and drinks are pricey, but amazing. Atmosphere is chic and also chill. Waitstaff are so nice. Owners very accommodating. I go there all the time. Great for queers, trans folk, and all the people who love us too. Don’t feel intimidated if you’re straight!! just come in and enjoy how cool the gays are.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Atmosphere was fun and vibrant. Service was good but not great. Staff was friendly and helpful, but our server kind of disappeared soon after we took a few bites.
Family of four enjoyed the Mother's Day brunch. Portion sizes were good. My wife raved about her seafood omelette.
Bathrooms were clean. Would definitely be willing to come back to try a different meal.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Caesar and crab Benny are must try! Super cool vibe inside and bar seating area is so welcoming. Love all the painting inside the bar and staff are super friendly. Must try if you want to grab a grab delicious breakfast without waiting one hour in line
