β β β β β Went to pick up fish for Rosh Hashana that I ordered ahead of time. Placed order for 4 x 2lbs fish , 8 heads and bones. The heads they gave me were so small when I asked for more they wouldn't give me any. For the price they charge it is a shanda! Gunifs they are. I will find another supplier.

β β β β β I was introduced to homemade gefilte fish in my 20s through frum Ashki friends. Growing up Israeli it was never part of our diet but omg do I love it now. I've been on the hunt for a perfect tasting loaf after trying to doctor up the frozen Unger ones for years. The sweet gefilte fish loaf from Friedman's is literally the best I've ever had in my life! Is it worth the price? YES. Is it worth the subpar customer service during a pre-chag week? DEFINITELY.
