About Fraserway RV Airdrie
Outside Your Rig
- Ensure all items in exterior compartments are secure
- Lock all exterior doors
- If you are traveling with a bike rack, ensure your rack and bicycles are securely attached
- Disconnect power cord, water hoses, and other cables and store them securely
- Drain and store sewer hose
- Drain holding tanks as required (a good rule of thumb is to leave enough fresh water you'll need between destinations)
- Ensure sewer drain valves are closed
- Roll-in and secure awning
- Pack up all outside items (mats, chairs, grill, etc.) and ensure they are securely stored
- Close front and/or rear window shutters
- Turn off gas water heater
- Put jacks up or store portable jacks
- Remove and store wheel chocks and levellers
- Check air pressure in all tires and adjust as required
- Check the lug nuts on all wheels to ensure they are in good condition and secure
- Check all engine fluid levels
- Check all your lights (brake, signal, etc.)
When hitching up check the following:
- Hitch/towing system
- Breakaway cable
- Sway bars
- Spring bars
- Check your electric brakes
- Check campsite to ensure it's clean and no items are left behind
- Pull up and secure steps
Inside Your Rig
- Secure all loose items (toaster, dishes, coffee pot, etc.)
- Place travel bars inside refrigerator and lock door
- Turn off water pump
- Turn off water heater
- Secure all doors, drawers, and cabinet doors
- Lower roof antenna/satellite system
- Lower roof vents
- Switch refrigerator to gas operation, or turn off your appliances and the gas supply at the tank or bottles
- Turn off air conditioner and furnace
- Put in and secure the slide-outs
- Close windows
- Secure blinds and drapes
- Shut off all gas pilot lights
Perform a final walk-around outside of your rig to ensure you haven't missed anything.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Expensive and not Friendly. We made arrangements to take our trailer to get dewinterized. It was our first experience with Fraser RV. Getting there is a challenge, it is tucked away in Airdre. Finally we arrived. The greeter asked if we had an appointment and yes we did at 1:00 PM. He could not find it. The blonde behind the counter decided to get involved from afar and sad without an appointment they could not help us. We then asked what the cost was going to be, are you ready $154.00. That was a total shock, other RV dealerships were offering the same servive for $79.00. The blonde just shrugged. We could not exit fast enough and wished them luck. We made our way back down Hwy2 got the trailer dewinterized without an appointment for $79. Fraser RV is not the only game in town.

We appreciated his down to earth approach and his willingness to get the answers to our many questions. He, and the team at fraserway, all worked hard to get us exactly what we wanted. We highly recommend them to anyone in the market for an RV.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Took our Eagle Cap truck camper there for service summer of 2021. After a charge of over $500 to simply verify what we had told them was wrong we eventually received a quote of over $4500 for repairs. There was a delay in getting this from them and we had to check back multiple times. Something did not seem right about this quote so we got a second opinion from Premier RV Service, who diagnosed and did repairs for less than $1500. Fraserway were going to replace slide motors at about 2K which we were told did not need to be done, and were going to replace an air conditioning unit that only needed new capacitors. Be aware and don't let them rip you off.

We had a quick conversation of what we were looking for and he showed us a couple versions of the Della Terra East West and knew everything about the trailer and went through everything this beautiful unit had to offer it checked every box we wanted. I am sure he is a huge asset to your sales team and to be honest everyone my wife and I talked too from the fraserway team at the show was happy to be there sure made us feel Great Luke sent us to see Natacha in Finance and she was another Amazing part of your team. Luke Airdrie is lucky to have you and we are excited to pick up our trailer in May. Thank you for your help and keep up the good work .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We love dealing with the whole team at Fraserway in airdrie, from the front staff to sales, parts, and especially service I have no issues giving friends family and strangers advice to go and experience the fun and friendly team in airdrie. We just actually had an amazing experience with service as our trailer required warranty service, that entire team did everything in their power to get the right parts and install them as fast as humanly possible. I had a blast dealing with Michelle in service and that sais a lot considering I’m a mechanic that has a hard time allowing anyone to work on his vehicles…. Thank you Fraserway RV for being as awesome as you are!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I took my trailer to Fraserway RV for warranty work and was thrilled with the service and over the top personal attention I received throughout the process from Michelle P. Due to COVID, parts deliveries from the manufacturer were delayed a couple of times. Michelle kept me well informed with every delay and was always a pleasure to deal with. When the work was completed, the snow had piled up in the back lane so that I could not get my trailer into my parking stall and so Michelle arranged for Fraserway to store it for me until the snow was gone. Best of all, there were no extra charges for the warranty work. The bill to me was actually $0.00. Thanks for doing a great job and making my experience at Fraserway Airdrie’s service department an excellent one.
