★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Have visited occasionally over the decades, it was much more picturesque before the beaver moved in and drowned most of the trees surrounding the pond. I think it's gone now. The beaver-proofing fences have cut off access to much of the pond now. There's a pair of Canada geese that have made this their spring home for several years, they're nice to watch. Every time I visit I have to cleanup litter for 15 minutes just to make it bearable though.
