About Fractal Fabrication
Randy Mullin has spent more than 20 years working in the sheet metal and fabrication industry. Starting at a very young age in his father’s shop, Mullin Metal Products, just as his father had in his father’s shop. That is three generations of Mullin family sheet metal workers serving the Central Alberta area. With nearly 100 cumulative years of experience passed down like that, it offers a classic approach that can only be developed in that kind of lineage. Mixing that classic heritage with the ability to perform repeatable tasks faster through CNC and CAD applications, provides a unique approach that recognises computers as a tool, but not the only tool to get the job done right.
Open for business in 2017 it has been an eventful couple of years. Starting out working on the tailgate of a truck, moving into a garage, and now into a well equipped industrial bay, it has been quite the ride. It has all been made possible by our fantastic customers that appreciate the quality that comes with every job we do.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I dealt with Randy at Fractical Fabrications when my central air died during the 35° - 40° heat wave that never ended (summer 2021). He was amazing, taught me proper maintenance (first time with central air), cleaned my horribly neglected unit, and tested every last thing to make sure that he only repaired what was needed rather then having me replace the whole unit - which is what I had fully expect was needed. But it wasn't! He replaced a single part and saved thousands of dollars.
He also worked around my schedule, and dealt with my crazy fear aggressive dog.
I highly recommend them for all your needs. I would give him 100 stars if it let me.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were referred to Fractal via a friend, and we were extremely grateful for the recommendation. Our furnace humidifier was not working correctly (and likely was never functional due to a previous improper installation from a major Red Deer HVAC company). Randy came to our home within 24hrs, diagnosed the faulty wiring and a faulty humidifier switch and got the correct parts installed by the next day by Ray (one of their technicians). Additionally he identified and corrected some loose hose clamps and other cooling deficiencies within our furnace that would have destroyed our newish furnace if not corrected. Our only regret is that we didn't call Fractal FIRST before replacing our previous furnace system.
We are extremely satisfied with Randy from Fractal Fabrication and we highly recommend them for all your residential heating or cooling needs!

But after getting shuffled around, and then waiting over four days for someone to call me back I gave up and tried again. This is when a friend referred Randy at Fractal. And I’m thankful he did. Randy was super easy to understand, super nice and efficient. He came out that very day to do an assessment. I had a brand new furnace installed and operational by him the very next day. And to top it off, he came in under his initial quote.
I highly recommend Fractal Fabrication to anyone and everyone. My problem and I felt like a priority, and that my business was appreciated.
