We just had the most horrible experience with our elderly dog. He had seizure and now very disoriented. He is crying and hhowelling. They would not take him. It’s heart breaking hearing him. We have to wait til emerg vet is open. Not impressed at all.

We are still somewhat "new" to the clinic. Dr. Hurford and staff have been wonderful with our Girl Mya and very easy to communicate with. I tend to be less than organized with my own communication some days and they have been very patient with me. Mya loves to go to the clinic and visit everyone. If she's happy I'm happy. :-)

Our granddaughters pup "Dottie" underwent surgery to be spayed at six months. Apparently she developed and infection so had to double up on antibiotics. Then within a month after had to undergo emergency surgery as apparently she ate a rope. So several dollars later Dottie still will not eat or drink. I personally called to vet to ask if they would give her IV antibiotics so I as a Nurse could administer at home. Guess what they would NEVER call me back but instead called my Son each day to bring Dottie in for IM injections and IV sub Q fluid. Since we were never allowed in WE have no idea if they actually administered anything. The following Friday after surgery March 25 2022 Dottie started weeping infection. Again we return for them to tell us best she be euthanized as they could not control the infection. I as a Nurse asked why did she not have a drain put in after second surgery since you knew she was prone to infection ? Also asked did you leave a foreign object inside or was the surgery careless on your behalf or you got in a hurry to leave that Friday night. ? Consequently this seven month old pup our Granddaughters' pride and joy had to be put to sleep. I certainly hope this NEVER happens to anyone else NOR WOULD I EVER reccommend Foxboro Vet !!! They sure know how to charge but unfortunately that is all they know.! When we returned on the Friday they wanted to do blood work and xrays to fur line their pocket and certainly DID not understand when I suggested blood work will show what white blood count vs red blood count is?? I hope they understand what they have done by their mistakes to these two little girls! Rest in peace Baby Dottie!!!!

Same as mamy reviews below, the place has gone down hill since Dr. Nadia left. Same as other reviews below. If you dare question what this vet wants to charge you for, you are told you are being abusive and that you aren’t a good fit and to find another vet after simply asking why you suddenly need bloodwork for a service your pet has received for years. This was after years of using this clinic, with no issues from Dr. Nadia, the previous owner. They will tell you that you are neglectfull and a hand full of other lies/insults to try and get what they want. To boot, they refused my animals the care during the pandemic, when finding a vet was almost impossible. Even laughing about the fact that we would not be able to find another vet due to the covid restrictions at the time and nobody accepting new clients. Basically trying to bully us into just paying what them for whatever they wanted to do. Ultimately we had to find another vet, as after years of perfect vet/client relationship I was told they would not accept me as a client anymore. You will notice all the negative reviews start after the new owner took over. The new owner is nothing but ignorant, narcistic and money hungry!! BEWARE OF THIS FACILITY!!!!!!!!

Please if you are considering this vet, read this review in its entirety. I know it's long but people should be aware that (from from perspective) this vet only cares about the money and not the animals. I am unbelievably disappointed by today's visit. I came to have my 9 year old dog's paw looked at as he has a growth. I made the tech aware that my dog can be nervous and can present as aggressive but that he has never bit anyone. I also explained that if needed, I could meet with the vet out back as I had in the past to get bloodwork during 2020's curbside protocol as my dog was nervous on this occasion. So the vet and the techs were aware of this from previous appointments. At no point was I made aware that if my dog was agitated that they would not do a proper physical exam of his foot. At no point did anyone tell me that meeting me outside was not an option. So I was charged a fee of $103 for them to provide a general exam which was not what I asked for. I asked for my dog's growth on his paw to be looked at. Then the vet (Dr.Hurford) was extremely rude to me when I explained this to her. And she couldn't even tell me my dog's weight because their computers were down... But she had just seen him......? When I said that if she wouldn't look at his foot, I would take my business elsewhere she replied rudely "I would be comfortable if you took your business elsewhere". I have spent thousands of dollars at this vet clinic to be dismissed with no care or regard. I work in customer service and know not to be rude. I was not rude to the vet. I did not raise my voice or anything of the sort. So to be spoken to in this regard after having multiple pets seen here was completely rediculous. I almost can't even believe it happened. Finally... When I made the appointment, I said I was coming for Bravecto for my 2 dogs. As if to throw salt on the wound, they didn't have enough for both my dogs. Please make sure you cross all your Ts and dot your Is before sending your pets in. You may find yourself paying for things you didn't ask for and then feel gaslit by the vet for having a problem with that fact. The vet that would not examine my dog's foot as requested was doctor Jennifer Hurford.

My pets and I have had nothing but exceptional experiences at Foxboro Vet. The entire team are beyond caring and compassionate. Dr. Hurford has gone above and beyond for my pets which is something I can't say for any other vet I've been to. Anytime I've called with an issue, the receptionists do their best to fit me in ASAP which I truly appreciate. I never feel pressured into any services and Dr. Hurford always gives me different options to treat my pets issues to fit my budget. During these difficult times with covid, I appreciate the hard work these girls do more than ever. I can't recommend Foxboro Vet enough. Thank you for being there for my pets.

Booked an appointment as a new client both by calling and leaving a voicemail as well as by submitting their request form online. First of all it took about 2 weeks for them to contact me back to confirm the appointment which in hindsight was an accurate indication of the level of service they provide. Then when I was 5 minutes late they cancelled my appointment and charged me a $100 scheduling fee. Their communication was unclear on the policy: they indicated the fee would be charged if I cancelled within 48 hours of the appointment or didn’t show up altogether, there was no mention of any cut off time for being late. I accepted responsibility for being 5 minutes late but since their communication was unclear I asked if they would meet me halfway and only charge me half of the fee. The first person I spoke to admitted and agreed that their communication was unclear and said that it would be updated to avoid confusion in the future but there was nothing she could do to help me and she passed me along to the vet. The vet I spoke to (I didn’t catch her name) was rude and confrontational and completely unwilling to discuss a reasonable compromise. In order to book another appointment I would have had to pay another $100 scheduling fee. I will be taking my business elsewhere, this is probably the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Would give 0 stars if I could.

Having known Dr Hurford for a number of years, I have always known that her love for animals is her number one priority. This was recently made even more clear when I was going through a severe illness with my own dog. Her calm and rational assistance and expertise was such a breath of fresh air when I was only experiencing fear and anxiety about my dog’s prognosis. I am happy to report that my girl is on the mend - I’m not sure it would have ended the same way if I hadn’t had the support of Dr Hurford when I needed it! Penelope thanks you with a loud, Basset Hound bay (which I never thought I would be so happy to hear again!)
