Great service!! My dog LOVES them!

Setup an appointment to drop my pet here for 2 days and dropped her off. Did all my chores and went to pick her up, and that's where the problem came about. When dropping her off, asked if there were any training methods to have her bark at strangers. Got a dirty look and was told "We don't condone that". Ok, I thought that was strange. Usually, a trainer or a vet does let me know why something may be a bad idea. On picking her up, the lady brought the dog out and told me we were banned from boarding there in the future. Said the dog was petrified and did not eat. Why they didn't call me the moment they noticed the problem is beyond understanding for me. I immediately took my dog to a vet and had her checked out, and aside from a little nervousness (normal in a GSD when meeting new people) she got a clean bill of health. I went to an animal behaviourist 2 days later, and after spending a couple of hours, I was again told my dog was ok and it was normal in the breed of being nervous around strangers, especially as a 15 month old puppy. Both the vet and the behaviourist did recommend against using this place again and said they were not surprised by my experience. In fact, the vet said that even for emergencies, she recommends the pets are taken to a place in Peterborough rather than be brought here. I would highly caution against boarding here. However, their prices are reasonable.

I just returned home with a very traumatized cat from a visit with Dr. Pang. Unlike the other Veterinarian on staff, Dr. Pang is still not allowing pet owners to attend appointments alongside their pets. If you have an upcoming appointment I would suggest re-scheduling it until she drops this arbitrary rule, or try the other Vet. I’ll never know what happened during that 10 minute visit, but I know what didn’t happen, the exam we drove there for. Ace was there to have a lump on his chest checked, and Dr. Pang explained in a rude and condescending tone that she was unable to perform an exam bc my cat was “out of control” and “damaged property in her office.” I wonder how Dr. Pang has gotten this far in her career, but was unable to handle a 13 lb cat? I requested to bring my cat back in while I held him for her to quickly check the lump, as we waited 6 weeks for this appointment, and I didn’t want to put him through the stress of another trip to the clinic. (Which had I been allowed in to begin with things would have been fine, as they always have been.) Again, very rudely Dr. Pang said that she was not willing to take another look at him unless he was sedated. I’m sorry you’d rather unnecessary sedate my cat than allow me to be in the room with him? We have always received exceptional service from Loyalist Veterinary Hospital and I am sad to say we won’t be returning solely because of my experience with Dr. Pang. All of the other staff are amazing, but the way in which this woman spoke to me, and about my pet was unacceptable.

Loved it, my dog loved it, came back very happy as my dog loves playing other dogs. We will be going back again and I definitely recommend.

Wonderful people. Very helpful and very kind when I lost my cat suddenly. They made time for me to bring him in to have him cremated. Thank you again

Well for starters I had called them months ago to see if they were taking new clients and if they took fixed fur life they said yes so I had fixed fur life send the approval for Boots to get fixed then I had to put everything on hold fast-forward a few months I call and they were beyond rude and never even asked my cats name or my name to see if we were in the computer she was just plain rude and hung up before I could even explain anything to her so if the approval is still there and I finally found a really good vet with awesome people working there I do not recommend loyalist vet and at the end im actually happy she was so rude cause I found a better vet ?
