★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Big shout out to Conrad Jones and his team at Foxpro Construction for an expedient response for a quote on a basement repair.
My friend Sherry Matters was about to list her house for sale in early August. Unfortunately her sump pump failed and her basement sustained water damage. This occurred during the great rain season of 2019.
Sherry called insurance and they sent out a remediation team to start the process of drying out and removing damaged material, ie: flooring, drywall and trim. But that's where it ended for the insurance service.
Because of the great rain of 2019 the insurance companies all across Edmonton were inundated with thousands of claims. It would be 3 months until Sherry's basement could be put back together.
I put in a call to Conrad from Foxpro and he was able to provide Sherry with a quote within 2 days. Sherry submitted the quote to insurance which was approved. Work was started shortly there after and to be complete by mid August.
This will allow Sherry to put her house on the market only a few weeks behind schedule.
Well done Foxpro!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The work we had done to prep our stairwell to the garage & basement was super. It was not done well by our builder and the guys with Fox Creek Homes Ltd took care of getting it ready for us to complete painting.
Communication with Conrad was great and any questions were answered quickly.
Great company and recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fox Creek Homes did a wonderful job finishing our basement and adding other improvements to our new home such as additional shelving and storage. They added a bedroom, full bath and a storage room to the unfinished basement. They are also building a composite deck and finishing our landscaping for us.
While we wanted to have everything ready before the start of the school year, we also wanted to give them the time they needed to provide quality results. There was less than two months, and they even went to the city and waited there to get the basement permit on the same day so we could get started sooner. We were told it would take 2-3 weeks to obtain the basement permit by other builders.
Greg and Conrad worked around our schedule and communicated any delays. They worked with us when we wanted to change something, and were very diligent to ensure any issues were addressed and corrected. A very important thing for us is that we could trust them. We felt comfortable and secure in knowing they can be at the house if we had to go out. They supervised the trades while we were away. They believe in quality, and so they will use contractors they know they can trust and better materials to ensure their customers have a quality end result. Even so, their pricing was very reasonable.
Greg and Conrad are very knowledgeable and experienced. We are very happy they could help us with our new home. We would give them 5 stars but nobody is perfect. We will definitely recommend them to our friends and family and call on them in the future if we needed any other work on our home.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fox Pro Construction was amazing to deal with! My wife and I would highly recommend this company. They excelled in prompt feedback, work estimation, and time frame allowances. With past experience, other companies were not good with communication, but I would like to say that is the strongest feature about their company. Greg and Conrad did numerous checkups throughout the project, advised us of any delays, and followed up after the project was completed. My wife and I also appreciated the feedback from their designers and trades people to help make our space more practical and cost effective. We would definitely recommend them to others and look forward to future work with them on other projects.

We were quoted an end date of two months after start and other than a few small matters, it was done in time. Conrad was very honest, forthright, professional and friendly, and addressed any concerns we had. His staff were great, special thanks to Nicole for the great behind the scenes work! We would highly recommend him for any project.

Initial communication Conrad was very kind and helpful and he attended my home to quote a bathroom remodel. I was very excited and it was long over do. When Conrad arrived everything went well initially until he began to refer to my townhome…. My home …. As low income housing. He referred to it as low income housing several times while telling me how he would complete the floor and bathroom. I was completely mortified and taken a back. Is my townhome old? Yes-built in 1980. Is it low income housing - absolutely not and the board works hard to maintain the complex. Is my complex in a general area where low income housing is? Yes - a block away.
By the time Conrad left I went from excited to completely embarrassed. Needless to say I did not end up even looking at the quote for quite sometime. I would have preferred an honest answer like “this isn’t a job we would take on”. I am writing this review to save anyone who may find themselves in a similar situation.
