Gorgeous path marred by development of mcmansions. Enjoyed the walk to the beach but the loud construction and surrounding massive houses were disappointing. Especially as they were at the end of the trail.

Great trail with lots of forest and wildlife discoveries along the way.

This trail was incredibly well maintained, lovely little delightful surprises along the way that tell you about the fun little things on the walk, and appreciated the lovely walkways and stair structures !! Side note: There was just a big wind storm and two large trees fell on the boardwalk at the beginning of the trail. We cleared as much of the small stuff as we could, but ended up going under/over the large trees.

Walked this trail with my 3 kids. Like many trails on the island, the trailhead was well marked with a post, but the actual trail was less easy to find. Also like many trails on the island, there was no parking other than on the side of the road. In this case, there were two driveways right close to one another and the signpost was in between. From the road it was not clear if or where the trail actually began as it was clear that the two drives were PRIVATE property. After exploring for a minute we found the trail which is directly between the two drives and skirts inbetween the two properties for its entire length from the higher road elevation down to the waterfront where the driveways end in pretty nice homes. The trail is very well maintained with some sections with actual boardwalks and handrails. At the end of the trail, it ends with a set of stairs going right into the water. There is no beach and there is very little area left or right to explore as this trail is lodged tightly between the two private properties right to the water. In any case, the hike was nice, and there was a little elevation to challenge the kids up and down with some slippery sections. Probably just over a kilometer out and back with elevation change of only 200m total. Nice walk. Would come again if there was someone who wanted to do this trail, but nothing much to see overall.
