Bad clubbing experience. My friends and I felt incredibly humiliated and mistreated. We were waiting in line and had to use the bathroom. We had to beg to 3 different people to use the bathroom inside and got told incredibly rude remarks like β€œthat’s not my problem wait in line”. We finally were able to go in because of ONE nice bouncer that asked to keep my ID with him while I went in. Once it was finally our turn to go inside, the other bouncer separated the girls from the boys in our group and let only the girls in first. We had to wait a while until we saw our friends again because apparently the doorman saw his β€œfriends” at the back of the line and decided to let them in before us. We obviously had to comment on it and got a reply β€œare you telling me how to do my job?”. Finally once we were all inside, there was vomit everywhere and really drunk people slamming into others on the dance floor and causing fights. No security??? Suggestion for Fortune: Train your staff better!! Maybe some anger management and kindness workshops.

This place is traaaaaaash. I'm sure it could be fun if their staff wasn't drunk on shift. Be careful here! They are not paying attention, dont understand bar watch and will harass you if hey deem fit. We have been accused of theft without stealing anything here - they will threaten you with the police but hold out!! Just a threat n they probably wont call (especially when they know they're wrong). Can definitely be a scary experience but as long as you advocate for yourself they'll F*** off :)

Do NOT book a table here. I recently booked a table/bottle service at Fortune for their Sup Fu Saturdays led by Hyphy events. Upon sitting down with my group, it was pretty empty and we decided to take some time to discuss the drink menu. After about 5 minutes, the manager rudely rushed us and told us, "just pick anything, pick something." We were rushed to order our drinks, despite there only being about 10 people on the dancefloor, and thus no reason to rush, or other patrons to attend to. I then had to find our server in the crowd to ask her when our drinks would be coming after waiting over an hour. Unlike other clubs, Fortune's VIP bottle service consists of one girl with a cheap light display, and one girl with just the bottles. After receiving our drinks, we had to chase our server down yet again to bring the next bottle that we had paid for. We quickly ran out of chasers and asked for more, upon which she asked, "well are you gonna order more?" For spending almost a THOUSAND dollars at this establishment, the least we expected was one more pitcher of watered down cranberry juice. Next, we went on the dancefloor for about 15 minutes, then came back to find that someone had come and spilled half of our shots, and was standing at our table, handling our personal belongings. We were shocked to see there was no security guarding the VIP section. Multiple times, we caught people touching our stuff that we had left at the table, claiming they were looking for their own items. Why would their items be at our table? It made no sense. Without any more drinks, we resorted to buying drinks from the bar, despite having bottle service. The bartender to the left of the stage kept my change. I had given $25 by accident for a $14 drink, and he only returned a toonie. He decided he deserved a $9 tip. I tried to argue with him but he turned his back and acted like I was not there. Towards 1am, we came back from smoking to find that all of our chasers, drinks, napkins, etc. had been cleared away by the server, despite there being drinks left. Almost $1000 and we couldn't keep a jug of water for our table? Not to mention the club feels like it's 30 degrees indoors. We were extremely fed up and disappointed by this experience and decided to join the floor one last time. This time when we returned, a group of 7 Filipino guys had taken over our table, taking videos and pictures as if they were in VIP. It was extremely embarrassing to see, and I can see why Fortune attracts such a crowd. Bottle service at any other club in Vancouver consists of consistent service, security, and professionalism. One of the main purposes of VIP is to have a secure place to leave your stuff, yet at Fortune I felt as if I was fending off thieves left and right. I've never in my life had to chase down a server TWICE after paying close to $1k. I have also never left VIP at any other club feeling so disappointed and ripped off. Do yourself a favour and don't book a table here.

Rude bouncers got 3 tables in there and they still made me wait in line. I tried to talked to them nicely, but they wouldn’t listen and all they said was obviously u don’t work here so u wouldn’t know how it works. Saying money talks? When I already got 3 tables in there but these money hungry bouncers just wanted me to get another table Cz they so broke. Gotta pay ur staff better fortune and teach them to respect their customers. Let us know if u need any help setting up a go fund me for better bouncers. We’re happy to feed and educate the poor.

Came here to watch a show. Space is narrow and a bit tight. Would have been nice for an intimate setup. But there are no tables and literally less than a handful of stools. If you're not tall, there's a slim chance you would be able to see the stage unless you're up front. Ledges are gross sticky. Sound quality is OK.

I have been here on many occasions and had a blast every single time. On the surface its just a regular night club but in reality it has become an epicenter for dope hip hop shows in Vancouver. The staff is great, the music is timeless and the memories are forever.

Been a regular at fortune sound club for about 3 years now. This place never fails to amuse me every time I go. Best sound system in the entire BC I would say. You can feel the beats inside of your body. Gave me goosebumps. Best DJ’s that play hip-hop and pop music. And the drinks and bottle service are very reasonable. This is a must if you love clubbing and dancing to the most popular songs with your friends.

I was able to see an incredible show by Georgias Mattiel here. What an awesome venue! The size is what you want for an intimate concert/show. They support local artists, the drinks are semi-reasonable and the place also doubles as a club. I’d recommend this place if any of your favourite bands are playing here. It has an awesome location, and the aesthetics of the place are just cool.
