Went in the off-season, so it was quiet. Loved the opportunity to walk through at my leisure but given the opportunity, I would have joined a guided tour to get more of the history & access to the inside of the buildings. They offer guided tours as a drop in, but it seemed awkward to me so I didn't do it. Amazing location! This would be a terrific add-on to a family adventure in the summer after hitting up the Farmer's market & band.

We went for a hike and found this heritage site. Well maintained. Very nice and clean. Loved Fort. I had 2 dogs with me so only stood at Fort Entrance. The rest we walked through then walked the Heritage Precinct Loop.

Beautiful area, with plenty of interesting history to explore. The replica of the fort is a bit underwhelming, but it was cool to see the frames marking the original fort and the actual context for all the written history. You can explore the area for free, or pay $7 for a guided tour with one of their fantastic staff.

Excellent tour including the old court house, turn of the century buildings, and a replica of the original fort built by the North West Mounted Police. If you're visiting, or live in the area, and are interested in the history of the region, I highly recommend it. The tour takes about 2 hours and you're free to enjoy the exhibit in the old Fort stables for longer if you'd like.

I had no idea of the history in Fort Saskatchewan about the Fort Heritage Precinct. Great place for a walk with the family. The area is open and is like a park although I did not see any picnic benches. There is washroom facilities and are well kept and clean. There are guided tours available. There is a Fort to see and a little village. It’s really cool.

Had a lot of fun wandering around the old Fort and the other heritage buildings. Though it was winter and nothing was running, it was still fun to see.

An excellent experience with a great group of people with the RVA (River Valley Alliance). Looking forward to going back in the summer ?

Beautiful facility to walk around and discover some of Alberta’s history. Good price point to go for a couple hours. Beautiful staged rooms. Good for kids and very educational.
