Italian cuisine includes deeply rooted traditions common to the whole country, as well as all the regions, different from each other, especially between North and South of Italy. Italian cuisine is about tradition, quality ingredients and love of flavours shared with the Family.
One of the main characteristics of Italian cuisine is its simplicity, with many dishes made up of few ingredients, and therefore our cooks rely on the quality of the ingredients, rather than the complexity of preparation.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We just had a great evening at Forno. The food was excellent and the service amazing. Our server Shyan was so sweet, prompt and full of great energy. The vibe in this restaurant is really cool. It’s nice to have a few screens but they don’t take over the place. The chef even popped by our table to check in, a classy gesture indeed. Thanks for a fun time great food. We are just moving to Alberta from the East and felt especially welcomed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very tastefully decorated. Not a large restaurant where you get lost or forgotten by your server. Wine selection is great, the house red is very delicious!! I was hesitant but tried it and had I did! My husband had the Italian Beef burger and he says best burger he’s ever had! I had the Fungi pasta, so good!! Servers and hostesses were friendly and Travis, whom I think was a manager or owner (?) came over to greet us as well as another manager to see how our service and meals were. For a new restaurant it was nice seeing them come over to us to welcome us and ensure everything was up to par! Can’t wait to go back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stopped in for lunch on Friday with a friend. We both ordered the steak sandwich. One with fries and one with the house salad. Everything was delicious and the steak was cooked to perfection! All the staff are super friendly and our food came out on time! Chef Thomas even stopped at our table to check up on us and if our food was too our liking! The place is absolutely beautiful! Definitely recommend this place to everyone. You will not be disappointed!

Two of Us ordered the il Fungo pizza, one GF.

No Arugula or balsamic reduction
No toppings after cheese
It was a 40+ minute wait. I didn’t want to have to return and wait anymore, so I ate what I could.
for a $21 pizza, I would have expected more.
This will not be a place to try or recommend when we are in town next time

I recommend the calamari’s. So juicy.
Amazing staff and a dedicated Chef leading in the back.
My only con is the cooking time needs to improve. Once that picks up I will be happy to give it Forno 5 stars.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really great service and a beautiful setting. We got mussels in saffron sauce, boar meatballs, beef carpaccio, margarita pizza and the prosciutto with arugula pizza. I wish I took a picture of our desert it was a peach schnapps panna cotta. I'm not usually a dessert person but when the head chef comes over and suggests it I couldn't resist and I'm glad I didn't! This restaurant is attached to Hash a breakfast brunch restaurant I highly recommend. The 4 stars are only because of a few minor hiccups but it's understandable being a new restaurant. I look forward to going back later this week with my mom and hopefully try out a few other menu items. This restaurant supports local in a huge way and it shows throughout the whole restaurant from food to the beverages. Try the coffee and people cow Saskatoon cream liqueur.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went with my wife for valentine's day. The special menu was amazing. Great atmosphere, the place was packed and we still got food and drinks in a timely manner. And the roses in the men's room were a nice touch.
There's also wood fire pizza oven, so we have to go again to try the pizza!
