★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Park at Forgetmenot Pond in Little Elbow Recreation Area near the end of hiway 66. Go across road, thru cattle fence and you will see the trail head. This is a 5km walk with about a 200m elevation gain, only you go up and down a few times, a good cardio workout. Views are not spectacular as most of hike is in the forest. This is a good afternoon outing if you are camping or picnicking near by.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ford Knoll Loop is a quick little hike, not too far from the city. Great for kids, too! The uphill bits could be a struggle for some, but the view at the lookout is worth it.
