★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The campground is great! The views are amazing, close to swimming and hiking. The facilities were clean and there's even a little store on-site! Mack, the owner, was fantastic and knew a lot about the history of the area!
This is a great place to stay and we will definitely be back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This amazing campground accommodated our group of six over the Canada Day weekend, and we had an amazing view! All the sites are well spread out, within a short walking distance to the facilities. The owner of the place was super friendly and always around to help - and sell us ice cream! Yes, he has a little goody shack! The shower was great, this guy seems to have a really cool vision for everything he is building. Love it! Also, we were right down the road from a bunch of swimming holes and hiking/biking trails! We'll definitely be back ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They're very friendly and welcoming at Forbidden Plateau, making for a very unforbidding experience. It's very peaceful and the wind is very calming. The drive up was fun.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The campsite is awesome! Went during the heatwave and it was nice to be close to barber's hole. Mack was super nice, showed us around the site, made sure we had water to put out the campfire and was always available when we needed someone from the store! Definitely recommend staying here and will be back, I promise to keep the noise down next time!! ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I spent a week up on the hill with Mack and Carlos. Beauty spot with fantastic views. Mack showed me where to get into the wicked mountain biking of the plateau and took me on a tour with the dirtbikes. The entire time I was there Mack built and worked at making the campsite better and better. Looking forward to see Mack's dream become a reality. 100% will be back. Thanks Mack, Jody, and Carlos!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic new campsite! If you're looking for a place to get away in the Comox Valley I would highly recommend. Great amenities for its first year open. Owner is polite and comes down to say "hi" and makes sure you have everything you need. Next time we camp, we're going back!
