Too crowded, no privacy, staff didn’t enforce noise curfews.

I understand having a refund policy. However, when my wife (who works remotely) got some terrible medical news that required me leaving the island to drive 17 hours to be with her, I kind of expected perhaps a little bit of a break. Won't stay here and can't recommend it due to that inflexibility.

Popular local lakeside hangout with easy access to loads of outdoor activities. The campground management and the community have done an outstanding job of taking care of the facilities and the wilderness.

We had the camp sites off to the left and they were way more private and just a 30 sec walk to the beach. Book early for these ones but it’s worth it. We had some awesome views too!

Absolutely beautiful place to hike around for the day. Taking a dip in the lake is recommended and if you are a rock climber, highly recommend this crag. Excellent rock routes and the exposure at Devils Ladder is awesome!!

Beautiful lake campground spot with nice swimming area but sites are pretty tight together and privacy is limited. Great budget camping spot, friendly and helpful staff. Park was a bit noisy until around 11. Bring ear plugs. Ample extra parking lot space. Options for tent only, tent/RV camping and serviced RV only sites.

Not a lot of privacy at the sites, I wouldn’t recommend to anyone not RV camping. We had an issue with mice the one night we were there. Showers cost 1 loonie and no where to get change before 10 am, takes 2 loonies before you get enough hot water. Lots of kids so probably a nice place for families? Just not the camping experience we look for.

Nice quiet place to walk around and easily access. I didn't have time to venture far but the beach area and shoreline were really nice. I've been told there is rock climbing and a mountain trail worth checking out. In the summer jumping off the dam bridge into the water is recommended.
