β β β β β Hidden gem, well worth the effort to find this idyllic location on the bank of the Similkameen River.
Co-proprietor Steve Venables has a friendly, easy-going demeanour. Known for their fruit wines, Forbidden Fruit Winery also has impressive red wines (haven't tried the whites yet).
I have been here several times over the years with my children (who enjoy the dog and occasional visits by deer and woodpeckers, most recently in September, 2018. We will be back.

β β β β β I make a point of visiting Forbidden fruit each time I head up to Osoyoos. The last time we went up last month, their family was out in the yard and they all waved to us driving in. I love the smaller family-owned vibe. The owner is so friendly, and the wines are so tasty. His sons Dead End label is great as well. My favorite is the Dead End Happy Endings Rose cab franc, and both the saint and sinner ciders! Luckily they sell their wines are the North Vancouver shipyards night market during the summer, so you can stock up!

β β β β β Just bought the fruit wine - peach - at a Vancouver farmer's market. Was a bit hesitant about a non-grape wine, but I really like it! Guy selling it offered helpful advice, information, suggestions for food pairing.

β β β β β I absolutely love this winery. Great variety of fruit and traditional wines using organic fruit. I haven't had a wine I didn't enjoy here. Definitely something for everyone. The owners are fabulous and very friendly.

β β β β β Wow! What a fun little winery. Stopped in here during a visit with some friends who live in the area. They have a cute little tasting area and a scattering of tables around the outside. The wine was fabulous and the service was fantastic. Definitely a place to check out when your in the area.
