About Foothills Salvage and Recycling Society
Our retail store offers new life for reusable items* to prevent a copious amount of substance from entering the landfill. We strive for a strong, environmentally sustainable practice of redistributing quality reusable items. We accept donations of clean reusable goods that can be offered for sale for continued use.
Want to save time and fuel?
No need to make a special trip to the Salvage Centre! For your convenience, we offer our unique “drop and go” service located at the Landfill bins. If you have reuseable goods, just drop them at the trailer and they will be delivered to the Salvage Centre.

Travel 5km south on highway 783 from the lights at highway 7 and 2a, Okotoks.
This operation is run by volunteers.
There are several buildings on the property with other items outside.
I was lucky to find a carafe for my 2005 Oster coffee machine for $1.00.
There are plenty of items to choose from, knick knacks, home decor, furniture, cds, lps, dvds, clothing toys, kitchen wares books etc.
Friendly staff, some great sales going on when I was there like pick any 5 books for $2.00 and 10 cds for a dollar.
Opened Monday to Saturday from 9am to 4pm. NOTE, closed every 1st Wednesday of the month.
The Salvage Center has raised and donated $60,000.00 to various organizations. We'll done volunteers!
The parking lot is a dirt surface lot.
