They helped guide me to a life of sobriety and gave me the tools to stand a chance against my personal struggles .these guys helped me understand what made me do the things I did and helped me find peace and let go of the past and live life through a clear lens. Iam So thankful I was able to find them and make the choice to be who I needed to be .

This journey into sobriety has not been an easy one, but watching myself turn into the person I was always meant to be is more than worth the fight.
In the center I was able to dig deep within myself, find the roots of my patterns and emotional prisons, and find ways to re-process and cope with them with the mental clarity I have now. My room was cozy, and beautiful, my own little sanctuary with a view, I put some sentimental pictures up and made it my own! I learned about the science behind addiction and its connection to mental illness through a special guest speaker that they had weekly. They took me through the steps, with the perfect balance of relaxation and emotional processing time/ asserted get down to business time.
We got out into the public at meetings and special outings, and had lots of fun socializing and feeling part of society in a safe environment and while feeling completely safe and supported by the incredible support staff. I have a giant bag of amazing tools I carry on my back through every day life now, going prepared to face whatever is thrown at me, not just addiction. I see a future for myself now, I can go back to school, have a family of my own, create music and art and a home for myself one day that I love... this has all become possible in my mind thanks to Foothills, and is possible for you too! Take the leap and don't look back, life is waiting for you!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are reading this then you are ready to change your life. Going to Foothills was the best decision I have ever made. I was terrified but I knew what I was doing wasn’t working for me anymore. I was so tired of the guilt and shame I was feeling along with the broken promises and lies. The amazing program at Foothills has given me my life back and it’s so much better than I even imagined it could be. I have found peace and been given the gift of sobriety.

After 15 years of struggling with an alcohol and drug addiction I admitted myself to treatment. It has been a life changer. The intense focus on the 12 steps of the AA program allowed me to have a great breakthrough and learn how to start living life with integrity and hope. Parris and the super staff were so supportive throughout the treatment in listening, sharing and educating me about challenges that I was facing. The center went above and beyond to accommodate my work, life and fitness commitments so that my life was not put on hold during my recovery. It was so constructive to bring my issues that I dealt with in my days away from Foothills into the counseling sessions and then be able to apply that information and skill right back again the next week. I finally got to learn about boundaries, values, feelings and what this disease really is. I really miss staying at the center and the positive attitude everyone has. I loved the connection with the other clients and still stay in touch I am blessed to have the life I have now... I have lost my fear and been given hope thanks to the wonderful people who genuinely loved me before I was able to love myself. Thank you ❤

I will be forever grateful for the treatment I received at Foothills. I was given a safe, supported environment to understand my addiction and the opportunity and help to make the changes needed to live my best life. The emphasis on physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health was very important to me and has provided me the tools to deal with the ups and downs of everyday life in a healthy way. I LOVE MY SOBER LIFE and I am thankful to the owners and staff at Foothills Centre for Change for helping me to achieve that.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Foothills Centre for change is by far one of the greatest places I have ever been. The warm and friendly staff are both incredibly kind as well as mindful of the help I needed as a drug addict and a person with mental health issues. One thing I can say for certain is the owners are really real and amazing people yet down to earth and mindful. Can't say enough good things about Foothills! If you genuinely want to change I can think of no better place to start your recovery process than Foothills Centre for Change!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went here for a 60 day program. Was amazing staff and the owners make it feel like a big family there way better then any government program where you feel like a number. They have a good wellness program gym yoga meditation. 1 on 1 counciling is amazing here. this is a 12 step program and it changed my life im totally grateful for foot hills

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went into recovery in March 2022 at a different centre. After being there for 7 days and having a negative experience I decided to leave and go to foothills. The second I walked in the door it felt like I was in the right place.
Darren and Paris are two of the most passionate people I have ever met. This is not a job for them. The eat sleep and breath recovery. From the moment I would wake up every morning I had a purpose. The entire program is made to not just stop me from using. But to teach me how to live again, how to have healthy relationships, how to have balance in my life.
I am eternally grateful for all the help I have received, and all the people I have met who continue to aid me in my recovery.
I have absolutely zero negative things to say, from a person who left another centre, foothills works, you will absolutely get out what you put in.
