After 24 years in active addiction
I was given a gift to spend few months at options .
The people you get to work with every day are amazing
I left there with the tools and foundation I needed
And have been able to continue my recovery ,coming up on 15 months clean.

The staff of qualified counselors and support workers will be there to guide you through this process with love and care ensuring you receive all the necessary tools for you to succeed. While attending the centre you will stay in large comfortable rooms all with queen beds, receive 5 Star meals, go on outings in and around the beautiful Shuswap. Give them a call. You will be forever grateful you did.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I arrived at Options Salmon Arm in May of 2018, where I spent 18 months learning how to live after 27 years of struggling to survive life. The staff have not only continued to be one of the main supports in my life but have become part of my family. The councillors, as well as, support staff and right down to the administration helped me grow into the woman, daughter and mother that I have always wanted to be. I found the solution my life was missing, and was literally loved on by everyone until I could learn how to love myself. I believe God has his hand on them and the little building I called home for so long. I initially finished my program after 9 months and went home where I started to struggle and it wasnt long before I had Options at my door step to take me home where I spent another 9 months. They will all hold a place in my heart and my families as I would have not survived and would have lost my life without their help and support and first and foremost for the Grace of God. I was also able to see the lives of many transformed in the time I was there as well as their families, because addiction is a family disease and it affects everyone that surrounds the addict, this is a fact that I learned from being a part of Options Salmon Arm. I will always be a part of The Options Family and I continue to be apart of their alumni groups as well as always being welcomed back with open arms for whatever I may need whether it's to celebrate a milestone in my life or talk through a struggle I may be facing.

The staff even inspired me to start my own journey in counselling so I can give to people what they gave too me. The staff truly care and will work tirelessly to make sure that the client has the best chance possible. Highly recommend options okanagan.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I never imagined life could be so good, thanks to this facility. My life is amazing. I left Options with all the tools to succeed in my recovery. Since then, I have reconnected with my family, friends, emoployers and my wife. I am now expecting twins. I never thought any of this was possible during my active addiction. But thanks to the programs and the excellent staff, my life is worth living. Love is everything!

Within the walls I was provided with exceptional care and love that helped me get well and embark on sobriety. The facility is surrounded with forest and trees that feel like a hug.
