★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Decided to eat at this location although the seating was limited. I enjoyed the nice texture of the rice (thought the rice was going to be really soft) and saltiness of the bacon and the kimchi just adds onto the flavor. I added the fried egg to it (perfectly cooked)...can you blame me for not adding it? The fried chicken was hot probably should have let it cool down for a few minutes but it tasted so good with the sweetness and spiciness and the sesame seeds. Yum!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of my favourite places to get food in the Rideau St/Byward Market area. Serving up innovative Korean dishes and of course some classics as well, Food Mood never disappoints! Always freshly made and every dish is such a flavour bomb! Can't not mention the incredibly kind and friendly service as well! You have to try their Kimbap, K-Bites and Rideau Crisps (but everything is great!)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We ordered 5 dishes: beef bibimbap, beef udon, chicken udon, pork belly kbite, chicken rice. They were all really delicious and flavourful. We had the japchae and potatoes as sides - less flavourful and not as good. Portion size was small and bit pricey for portion size given. Staff very friendly. Everything came to $96.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great for a late night snack! Classic mom and pop (literally! An adorable korean couple) hole-in-the-wall serving comforting dishes. The chicken katsu was wonderfully crisp and still juicy inside, and the riceball (order spicy!) came with crispy topping and beef inside! Food was made to order, fresh from the fryer, and a decent price compared to a lot in the area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have ordered from here once before (beef kimbap and kimchi ramen) and we didn't enjoy it. However today we decided to try again and ordered the honey and soy sauce chicken wings and the 9k bite with beef. Honestly, it was really good. Which makes me think that our first time was probably just an off day for them. We really enjoyed the food this time around. I can see why they have good ratings. We will definitely go back.
