★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Took my teen son here several months ago and he was happy with his cut so booked an appointment with Annabelle again. After waiting for over 20 minutes, she was still not done her previous client, so we finally left in frustration as we had somewhere else to be afterwards and didn’t want to be late. She apologized and offered a ‘quick trim’ which hardly seemed right after booking days before and waiting ages for her to finish. If clients are expected to be on time, stylists should be too. Someone else could at least have started him with a wash if she was running late. Disappointed and won’t return.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It has been way too long since I got a hair cut and it showed! Since Covid started I don't tend to go into more places than I have too. I had a little extra time today so decided I'd try my luck. I walked in and I met the wonderful Bridgette. She was full of great conversation and gave me a fantastic cut. I felt like she took her time, and listened to what I wanted in a cut. The Salon is clean and they follow covid protocols in a professional, respectful way that makes it stress free to be there. I am definately a client of the salon and Bridgette now. Thanks so much for making me feel and look so much better! You did a great job!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am new to the area and was told this was a good salon, so I made an appt for a cut and highlights. I was put with the youngest stylist in the shop but she has a good review for coloring. When I sat down I showed her a photo of what I wanted for both cut and the light blonde color. She worked away cutting and did the highlights but when the foils came out the color was not bright blonde but very ashy grey blonde. She told me that it would brighten up as the toner made it grey looking. Well it been 2 weeks since then and the color has toned down a bit to a more ashy blonde. The cut is now very choppy and no shape to it. I reached out to the shop last week by email about my dissatisfaction and no reply since. I am disappointed that they couldnt even reply to my email. If this is how they treat new clients I can find someone else who will want my business and listen to what I want done. ****Further to this review, the owner did reach out to me after this was posted. They apologized profusely for not responding in a timely manner and have since offered me some options to correct the issues that I had. I have since had the cut corrected with a different stylist and was very happy with the quality of the style.****

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been dying my hair for year but at home, I decided to try a salon close to my house for convenience but the person there destroyed my hair. A friend of mine booked me in at Focus for an emergency appointment with her stylist Annabelle who saved my hair. I don't go anywhere else now, even though I live in Victoria and I take the bus I trust only Annabelle with my hair.
Below I have photos of my before and after.
What you can't see in the before photos is my chemical burns.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pretty unhappy with the result with what I asked for, I went there a week earlier to discuss about the specific color (pic no.1) with Annabelle and I even mention I want exactly the same and came out with pics no 2,3,4 . Im trying to point it out that its not the same color with the pics (too dark and no highlights) and she always said in her opinion is the same and also she never own her mistakes and keep telling me because thats what I want (don’t know what else to say after I showed her the pic how I wanted). Im sure you can tell the difference between those pics . Also when She color my hair and touch the side of my face and made dark stain ( no apologize and keep insisting I tried the stain remover that she provided 2x and make my skin red coz the irritation and still didn’t came out) . Overall its def not a pleasant service .
