Who We Are
In 1966, Floyd's Glass was a small glass shop in then Port Arthur Ontario. Raymond Floyd along with his wife Jeanne were busy with Automotive and flat glass work. By 1970, sons Jack, John, Ken and daughter Nancy were introduced to the business. With hard work and key attention to diversification Floyd's has become known city and region wide as a leader in glass products.
Now after 50 years, the Floyd's have retired. Dave Brown and Susan Groom purchased the company. Our goal is to continue to work hard and keep Floyd's Glass one of Thunder Bay's top experienced Auto & Plate Glass dealer and specialists.
We use only approved sealants that insure safety and leak-proof results.
Make your windshield and glass replacements a hassle-free experience by using our free pick-up and delivery service. You don't even need to leave your home or office. We also offer courtesy rides while work is being done on your vehicle.
We are known for our custom glass work on vintage autos. We carry clear and tinted lamination glass which can be cut to factory specs for that finishing touch on your vintage project.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Got my 2017 F250 Diesel crew cab tinted there, did an amazing job. I took my last vehicle to auto trenz they had hair pieces in it and bubbles in lots of areas and were horrible to work with.. at Floyds I never had a problem at all and it was cheaper than auto trenz and way less time...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I been dealing with Floyd's Glass for years, but have been away a few year, when I was back in Thunder Bay recently, I had an issue with the driver's side window. It wouldn't go up and it was cold out too. Drove straight to Floyd's and they were able to squeeze me in. Was repaired in no time and was quite please that it was just a dirty track of dirt and ice, they cleaned it up lubricated it and the window does work.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a major chip in my windshield. Reception was awesome to get me scheduled in fast to fix the chip, however it was large enough that it was still visible afterwards. I was told to simply come back to have it fixed if it deteriorates.
