Really knowledgeable & confident on the guiding action, Ty knows what's up ! Hands down, one of my favorite guided multi-day trek.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Loved the 2 day AST 1 course. On line portion was set up really well, loved having this option to do it on my own time and not sitting in a classroom. First day was set up to apply safety skills and test out equipment on a short walk into the field. Second was a full field day being able to apply the information. Very well done. I feel more comfortable going into the back country and being able to find appropriate touring partners. Thank you Tyler! :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Organized my AST 1 with Ty for myself and a few friends. It was an awesome experience and definitely the way to do an AST 1. He catered the course content to our skill level and interests. We spent two days in the backcountry, each in different zones with different snow packs and conditions. The entire experience was highly engaging, informative, and perhaps most importantly fun! The course surpassed all of our expectations. Highly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our group went on a AST1+ course in which we, completed our AST1 course in the field for 3 days and also spent those field days skiing as well. Our guides, Tyler, Morgen and Tommy were all very experienced and extremely informative. They answered all our questions, gave useful and helpful tips while accessing the back-country. The guides provided ample help on getting all members up the skin tracks safely and even rounded out turns so our inexperienced group didn't have to do too many hard kick turns. All in all I would definitely take my AST1 course again with Flow Guiding Service and am already planning on devising a trip next year to work on my AST2.
