★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not too far off the beaten path of Finmark Road ...about 45 km west of Thunder Bay is the 100 m long abandoned CN Flett Railway Tunnel. Impressive ice stalagmites and stalactites in the winter. Steep green drop offs in the summer. Cool place to visit!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Super cool place. Pictures don't do the length of the tunnel justice. If you bring a speaker you can play some music in it. I'm sure that would be cool, we will be doing this the next time we go. Also found these little round rocks there, have since found out they are iron ore pellets.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place requires a permit! The permit can be taken online on Wagner Forest Management website. Make sure to buy the permit on the day of your visit as the site doesn't have an option to choose the date.
The tunnel is huge, dark and feels scary to people like me but having a company will make it fun for sure!
