I booked a two-way ticket form Vancouver to Calgary through Flair Air in June this year. Flair Air rescheduled the flight to Calgary to another day that didn't work with our schedule (I'm assuming due to low passenger volume). I asked to cancel this portion of our itinerary, and they accidentally cancelled our return flight as well. When we arrived at the airport to return back to Vancouver, we were told that since the flight had been cancelled, we had to pay an additional $300 to book new flights. I've since contacted customer service multiple times over phone and e-mail and been told that a manager will call me "within a few days", but haven't heard back. This company is fraudulent and has terrible customer service. The money you save on your ticket is not worth the hassle.

FLAIR LOST MY MOTHER. This airline is irresponsible and frankly dangerous. No accountability taken whatsoever for the risky and frightening situation she was put in. Thank goodness air canada was able to step up and make up for their negligence.

Absolutely unfortunately not worth the cost saving. Van to Calgary delayed 8 hours- ok, airline let ppl know the night before. No biggie. 3 days later: Calgary to Van... 4 flight delays, 2 planes out of service, and 7 hours later finally able to fly out. By that time no other flights to Van available through other airlines. Nobody at the desk "to talk to about options for changing your flight or a refund" from 1330 until 1800. Once in the plane, seat was soaked, appeared someone's child had had an accident and staff were unaware before boarding?!?!?! The staff on the plane were friendly and helpful both ways. It is too bad I can't leave them a separate review. They dealt with a whole bunch of very grumpy & tired ppl with admirable aplomb.

Pros: - cheap Cons: - delays delays delays - seats made for sardines - staff kind of know what they’re doing? - additional fee for every other thing you add This is a new airline that has its hiccups. The attractive pricing and colour scheme does make it pop. After an experience with flair, it does make you regret not booking with air Canada which is the unfortunate part. When you go to Europe, the states and Asia, budget flights are available and they’re not much more different than the bigger airlines. I do hope Flair will make some improvements, so Canada will finally be out of the Air Canada/Westjet monopoly. Tip: When comparing the prices between airlines, add the amount the baggage fees will cost and then decide. If you do end up going with Flair and decide to pay for bags at the counter, the fees are much higher.

Just checked in with Lindsay at the check-in counter. Super courteous and helpful...her coworker Hannah was also courteous, polite and professional. First time flying with flair! Please pass my kudos to both of them.

Not worth the hassle of their cheap fares. The airline's support staff will pretend to help you but not actually take proper action so that you will forget about your actual issue, then make every excuse possible to relieve itself of responsibility. The airline lost my stuff and actively chosen not to abide by CTA air passenger protection regulations.

Airline violates passenger rights and airline obligations provided by the Canadian Transportation Agency (CTA). They will give you the run around and tell you that someone will reach out to you in 24/48hours but they never do. When compensation requests are sent they have 30 days to respond and either accept or give proper reasons for denying a claim. I received a generic copy paste that did not address any of my issues after 60 days from my initial email. Issues from December still haven't been addressed and I will be filing a complaint with the CTA so that they can handle the issues I've been having with flair.

In flight service and customer service was excellent. Flair needs to tweak the online check in process on the app. Group of six within my group and 3 had issues with checking in online due to app issues or site problems and then charged $25 at the gate for not checking in online. 1 companion had to pay twice for checked luggage because payment was not seen at gate from her online payment. Flair is affordable and convenient but upgrades to its tech service would earn it 5/5.
