★ ★ ★ ★ ★ AVOID AT ALL COSTS! If you can give zero starts that’s what I would give. Called Aaron in for a plumbing job though a company called Fort York Handyman (also scammers). He came with another guy (likely because he does not have a plumbing license so brought another man who does, red flag number 1). He charged us a fee of $140 for the “service charge” to come and identify the problem which was supposed to applied towards the plumbing job if you choose to go forward with it. He quoted us at the time $250 to come back and fix the valve that was broken which we happily agreed to without negotiation. When we tried to call him back to come and do the job, his pricing miraculously increased to $400 for the very same job. Even willing to pay him $300, more than the agreed upon price he quoted while standing in our place looking at the problem, Aaron constantly made excuses as to why he could not come out pushing back the timelines by weeks at a time - knowing very well that we couldn’t wait and that he has us in a bad place because we already paid him. We called him and the company that sent him numerous times, they both deflected to the other and no one took responsibility. At the end, we ended up getting SCAMMED for $140 for his bogus “service charge” and had to find another plumber elsewhere to do the work. Avoid this guy at all costs. He will come out to identify the problem, charge you a service fee and never come back again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I used Fixall to disconnect and then reconnect my kitchen sink water supply after installation of a new countertop. All was good till a leak developed and I contacted Aaron. Initially he responded to say he was on another job and then nothing, crickets. I waited and still nothing so I texted again and this time no response at all. I had to get someone else to fix the issue. I don't expect to have something done for nothing but I do expect at least a response. I am very disappointed as I did give Fixall a good recommendation after the first job.
