We started with a home that was fairly dated, and ended up with the modern-organic home of our dreams. To provide context, we updated all of our flooring, walls, whole kitchen, all bathrooms, bedrooms, created a brand new laundry room, and refreshed all storage spaces, even our garage – the whole house! We had several ideas for the home, and elements we wanted to include, which were provided to the team before engaging with them, and right away Shannon and Cheryl came up with some beautiful options and solutions that perfectly matched our vision. They were very attentive and took our vision to heart and implemented everything with tasteful finishes and construction plans that were both beautiful and functional. They have a great eye for detail and functionality, and we felt that we were in great hands throughout the project. They were friendly, very communicative, and had great resources to get the project going. Any issues that arose were handled swiftly and with grace, which we really appreciated. The project manager that they had on board was a major game changer, and made everything very stress-free for us throughout. We thoroughly enjoyed working with First Impression Designs and would whole-heartedly recommend them to anyone looking to start a home renovation. A big thank you to Shannon, Cheryl, and Anna who helped us make our dream home a reality!

After interviewing a handful of interior designers, Shannon stood out as someone who listens well, understands what we want and works to stay within our budget.
