★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was the Guitar Player on the FBCNB worship team for most of 2017 - SEPT 2020. At least for awhile before SEPT they muted my acoustic/electric guitar every week. I first played in a Church when I was 11 years old (photos public on facebook).
I am a Master Business Licence holder (now inactive, still valid). It is/was a computer tech business. I asked if the church was interested in a new website a couple years ago. I made a fully functional responsive mobile friendly website with a basic Content Management System so the pastor can change the welcome messages and calendar etc. They ignored my work.
I have brought concerns about the behavior of the Pastor and lack of the Holy Spirit in our church. They were ignored. It seems he prefers to sing "songs" for entertainment and preach about the Lauren Daigle song charts. Or sometimes a lesson on why we should forgive people based on the Bible, or the key to a good marriage based on the Bible. If you want to be more virtuous talk to a councilor or something. The Church is supposed to be about Jesus. According to the Bible, the Holy Spirit produces these kinds of fruit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self control. We should not attempt to replace the Holy Spirit.
He stated people volunteering in the Church often feel under appreciated and went on to say it is a result of mental health (SUNDAY SERVICE FB VIDEO SEPT 27th 36:30). Was replaced as a guitar player on Thanksgiving.
