As a vendor in the event industry myself, I have nothing but praises for Erin and the Filosophi team. Working with a creative, organized, reliable and professional to that level is a treat for us every time! We have created gorgeous events with Filosophi and every one of them was a walk in the park, as their team made all the technical aspects of producing the event very easy to navigate through and always tackled every hurdle. Highly highly highly recommend!

We used Margaux Richards as our day of planner. She was amazing!! Super responsive to all of my emails throughout the year when asking about wedding etiquette or help finding vendors. She instantly knew what my style would be like and made the best recommendations. She has a great calming presence and makes you feel confident that everything will be taken care of when you hand the keys over to her a few weeks before the wedding. If you can't afford full wedding planning services I HIGHLY recommend day of service. You'll feel relaxed and focused on your wedding knowing Marqaux and Filosophi Events has it covered.

We've only ever interviewed and worked with Erin as a wedding planner but we're glad the Universe connected us with her... because she was all we need (and beyond) to organize our express tiny COVID wedding. She put us in touch with exactly the right vendors so we didn't have to do a hundred interviews. She designed the most beautiful design for our ceremony and dinner table. She took on tasks we didn't even know we needed (bringing Bluetooth speakers for the music at the ceremony) or that we didn't want to take care of (picking up foods for the whole wedding party for lunch before the ceremony!). And she did that in 40 days with joy, grace and confidence. My now-husband calls her his "hero", because she really got us out of a stressful situation happening literally 48h before our wedding. 100% worth the investment if you want something beautiful, easy and well done without the hassle of figuring out all the small details for months on.

When Lisa and I started planning our wedding at Sonora Resort in BC, we didn't think we needed a wedding planner and that we could "manage" it all ourselves. The resort however required us to have a planner as they had limited capacity to manage all the events and needs. They referred us to Filosophi and Erin Bishop which in retrospect was the best thing that could have happened. We immediately knew we were in good hands from the first introduction to Erin. Erin is an entrepreneur at heart and is in relentless pursuit of providing the highest level of service. She took a personal interest in our wedding planning and quickly identified all the things that needed to happen to pull of an amazing event. We had no idea what we had gotten ourselves into having a remote wedding in Canada while living in France. I can honestly say in the year of planning there was not a moment I was worried or concerned about Erin making our wedding a special and amazing event. She managed all the interactions with the resort, helped all of our guest with travel planning and the customized travel needs as the only way to the resort is by private seaplane, boat or helicopter. She connected us and facilitate all the discussions with vendors from flowers, to video, to decoration, etc. She even helped plan the menu for all the meals (an entire weekends worth) directly with the resort. When we showed up to the island there was nothing we had to do but enjoy ourselves and our guest. She went so far as to ensure there was a full-time babysitter for our youngest child and she actually ironed and steamed all our wedding clothes by herself! Not to mention that she coordinated barges and transport for all our things and vendors things to the resort. I could go on and on but there was no greater use of our money for the wedding. Erin is professional as they come but she is also a great individual and someone we now consider a friend. She makes miracles happen for so many people. You will not go wrong with Filosophi. An amazing group of people!

I am a wedding photographer and a very particular person, and Filosophi (specifically Shirley, our lead planner) was absolutely incredible. Coordinating a wedding is a tough job and Shirley made sure everything went smoothly without a hitch. She answered my many questions, met with me several times, was in constant communication about every detail, was well experienced with vendors and the events of the day, and had a great eye for detail. My mom was particularly impressed with how everything they set up was packed perfectly back where it was found. My husband and I had an amazing and fun day because we didn't have to worry about anything; it was all taken care of! If we were to do it again we would hire them every time!

My wife and I are wedding photographers and have worked with Filosophi on heaps of weddings over the years. First and foremost they have their $hit together! Organized, creative, passionate and attentive. We know from working with them behind the scenes that they have the training, knowledge and skill set to execute the hell out of a wedding. It's no surprise they pick up an award or two every year at the BC Wedding Awards Gala for planning and designing the best weddings. We've worked with Erin, Shirley, Margaux, Rebecca and Kira personally and could not recommend them more. My team and I have had the pleasure of working with Vancouver wedding planners Filosophi on numerous weddings over the years. Time and time again, we’ve been blown away by the creativity of each celebration, the relaxed vibes of our couples (no doubt thanks to all the heavy lifting Erin and her team put into each event), and the comfort in knowing every vendor is acknowledged and taken care of. We always feel fully supported when going into each Filosophi wedding: from having a detailed, intuitive schedule to the trust Erin and her team has in us to provide our services (photography and cinema) to our couples. You want Erin and her team in your corner when it comes to all this wedding planning business: highly capable and organized humans who genuinely care.

We worked with Margaux from Filosophi Events to plan our wedding in December 2021 and it was the best decision we ever made. The months leading up to the wedding were so stressful and the covid restrictions were changing every couple weeks. Margaux always put us at ease and helped us put together a few different plans depending on what the restrictions would be the day of the wedding. She really went above and beyond. We gave her feedback on what we wanted the flowers and decor to look like and she sourced everything for us so quickly and it turned out even better than what we imagined. On the day of the wedding, she helped us organize all of the vendors and kept everything on schedule so we didnt have to worry about a single thing. I've worked with Filosophi before on several events and they truly are the best in Vancouver. Erin, Margaux and the Filosophi team are all so kind, creative and easy to work with. I can't recommend Filosophi more!
