They went and looked at the sample in the store then went back to their shop and did better than what I showed them. True craftsmen exceed expectations by making the project into a timeless work of art which looks far better than what we imagine. That's what FHG did for us.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have lived in our condo for almost 17 years. The kitchen cabinets were white but two doors had "yellowed" considerably. A painting company quoted us an outrageously high price to paint all the cupboards. However, FHG Contracting Inc. was recommended to us by some friends. We called them, they had the paint colour matched, and painted the two yellowed doors. Roman installed the doors and we couldn't be happier. They did an excellent job! We highly recommend this company.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Highly recommended. FHG was recommended by our railing installer as they do a quality work staining maple (which can be tricky). The fellows from FHG came over and mixed the stain "on site" color matching from a flooring sample we had. They did three samples (different shades including top coat) on a piece of scrap wood so we could see what the final would look like.
The stain applied to the new railing was hand wiped with three clear coats applied. The final product looks and feels fantastic.

We are building an infill and FHG Contracting was recommended to us by the company that provided our stairs. We weren’t sure exactly how we wanted to finish the stairs and had a lot of questions for FHG.
Roman and Joel gave us all the help and time we needed to figure the right solution for finishing our stairs. This included custom blending stain colours for us on the spot so we could get exactly the colour and finish we wanted.
Throughout our home building experience we have worked with dozens of different contractors, some very good and others not so good. FHG has been one of the best contractors we have worked with. Their quote was competitive, they were perfectly on time and the final price was as quoted. Even more importantly for us, they were happy to provide excellent advice and guidance.
The finished product is spectacular. We LOVE the look and feel of the staircase, it is a beautiful highlight in our new home.

The workmanship is completed to the highest standard. They were always available to answer questions and were very accommodating to small changes we added to the project along the way. The work done onsite was done very neatly and with consideration to our home. Roman and Joel were lovely. This is a wonderful family business! We are recommending FHG to our family and friends.
