With the small class size, Ken is able to give each student the attention they need to learn pottery at whatever level they are. Even though I was just a beginner, I ended up with some lovely pieces of pottery. Ken teachers slab work, handbuilding with coils, and the wheel. Great experience!

We learned a lot about pottery building and have a new appreciation for the craft. Ken (instructor) was patient, knowledgeable and accommodating. We felt relaxed during class and met new friends. I would highly recommend this course to any one!

He was going to resume classes at a later time but I was moving out of province so he let me come in by myself so I could get my stuff done. The only thing was that there was two classes left but he only offered I come in one more time and he would finish my pieces and send them to me. I figured I'd bring my mom since I wasn't getting the last class I paid for. We went and I finished what I wanted to and my mom made a few very small things like ornaments, nothing crazy. He was supposed to send me everything when it was done but he kept ignoring my emails. Finally gets back to me and says some stuff broke but would send the rest. He sends the box after almost a year of me emailing, trying to get his attention and not everything is in there. So I email again and now he apparently can't find the two main things I made in the class. Said he would look again, I even provided photos of what the two items looked like but he never got back to me. Seems odd that stuff just got lost? I ultimately have a few things to show for the $300+ class. Not to mention that these were supposed to be Christmas presents and he took about a year and a half to send me those few things. Pretty frustrating.
