Super honest mechanic! It's my first time owning a car in the city and I'll never go anywhere else after the great experience I've had here. Amazing customer service in general and they aren't condescending to me for being a young woman without much car knowledge which is a huge plus! They're very honest and straightforward about what needs to be done and try to get you the best deal.

I have never, in my two years of owning the same beater in Montreal, been to a mechanic more honest, friendly, kind, knowledgeable, open to listening, and downright generous in his service. I went in thinking my car was going to cost me half my life's savings just to keep it running. Both the main guy (I am so sorry I forgot his name so I will call him Faros) and his buddy mechanic were not at all irritated or annoyed when I went into their shop to ask questions on the status of my car, as well as to tell them of other qualms I had that I forgotten to mention over the phone. They gave me the premier treatment and I believe that they treat everyone this way. As I went to pick my car up this afternoon, another couple was walking into the shop and Faros's buddy (I am so sorry I did not get his name either) offered to show them the problem on their Mazda, instead of just telling them. It was an awesome green flag never yet seen before (by me) at a shop. I asked for an oil and filter change, a brake check, a winter-to-summer tire change, and an engine diagnosis. I will just tell you that Faros did all of those things, and *only* charged me on the work that needed to be done. And he reassured me that my old beater had some life left in her (maybe because his brother had the same model once upon a time, so he says)! Both Faros and his buddy are amazing, rare, altruistic people who simply do not exist anymore in 2022. When I asked why I was charged so little, Faros told me that the world is in a tough spot--that we all deserve decency. I believe the business model here is truly based off of being the most honest, well-intentioned, knowledgeable, and kind mechanic in town. I hope it keeps up forever. My beater will last me until the panels have rusted right through and have blown away in the wind thanks to these guys. May all mechanics learn from the power of a positive client experience.
